That is shown as trade 222 traded at 3.423 - when the bid was showing at 3.4 and offer at 3.45

And the SP showing down. Doesn't make any sense but it is AIM.

If! - as some folk have suggested, it is (well) over subscribed then surely the doors on obtaining an entry would be closed earlier than the published date of the offer closing. With that in mind we could get an earlier RNS or would this offer have to remain open to all parties to give latecomers a bite of the cherry?

There is a sight anomaly in the headline vs the article first paragraph in the headline figure:-

On January 6 Bahamas Petroleum (BPC) announced that it was raising £2 million at 2p from a Bahamas based fund.

So which is it Tom? £10 Million or £2 million.

Chic - Can you lead me to where I could read this important information please?

japotts - that share is already within the famtasy portfolio - purchase price then 1.3pps - had folk taken the bait then they would be almost 30% down. Cut your losses and run.

These are indeed exciting times for BPC and holders of their stock - though there is too much speculation and guesstimates as to whether it will be a blue day, a red day, 5p, 4p 50p etc that it detracts from the information that is in the main factual.

I know we all have dreams - even I do - though I know they are just that - until the fat lady sings the song of the oil king/queen I am keeping schtum on my hopes for the share. There is a figure but do not wish to bandy it about every ten posts or so.

Until we receive the RNS telling us what is happening with the Mutual Fund and the long awaited drill, EIA etc lets all have a day off speculating. I keep seeing figures in the topic heading that make me want to look at the live prices and when I do I read the post. You can get live prices by signing up to a number of sources. I use ADVFN free to view live prices and trades. It is hit and miss how long they stay on your screen until the need to refresh but it is live and it is free.

Talk of a fiver a pop at this stage of the game is dreamland (IMO). It would be nice to see just double figures and that could change people’s lives. Multiple wells producing many barrels per day would be great. BP is trading under a fiver at last check so for everyone’s sanity I would not even dream about that figure, certainly with the huge amount of shares in issue. Exciting times ahead all the same. ;@)

Kalan - easy to say - lot harder to do when you are 10's of 000's in the red.

Whilst investing in always fraught with danger - when you have folk like Borrelli pumping out RNS giving massive positivism and stating we are sat on Billions of $ in assets which are easy to recover with an even more impressive Vanadium as a by-product - there has to be a moment when one would like some answers. This is the time for some answers which are true and which would fulfill curiosity the majority on here have. Had you not been the beneficiary of BMR's downfall and been the loser, I am sure you would feel the same. IMO anyway.

There have been several larger trades earlier in the day - would be nice to see a lot more.

dubed - my point is that whilst it may be a little exciting now - what will it be like when we breach the 10% mark.
This share is only being nibbled at by small investors at the moment.

I am certainly not saying there is no excitement at the moment. I am quite happy with the current state of play though we have had money made and lost several times at these volumes.

Robbla - real excitement will commence when we begin to hit 10% of SII.
10% of shares in issue is still 213,480,000 so keeping my hat on for now.
