Amarone is fine with me or Brunello. - I became quite a fan of the latter having done a private tour of the Banfi winery, for an ITV holiday programme back in 2004. The manager there wanted me to say for the camera "Dante, I agree this is the king of wines". Of course having gone through the tour and 5 course meal with drinks I was already half cut - plus the current ad for Budweiser was King of Beers - so I had to excuse myself for getting it wrong until midway through the second bottle on the take lol. Brings back happy memories as I was not invested anywhere near as much as I have become these days ;@)

fatal - I have not seen a post which appears to be wishing to depress the very steady price it has been for months. I doubt much movement either way until this Mutual Fund issue is sorted - That window until 7th February. As the offer price is 2p we would not ordinarily move upwards and with the offer being at tuppence too I do not see the rationale of allowing it to decrease - in saying that - this is what occurred at the fundraise that I and several others took up. I am sure you recall it being oversubscribed.

So no ramping or deramping - several are saying quite credulously that there will be little movement.

I would agree there have been a number of folks posting very much 'blue sky' however, I believe the main offenders have moved onto pastures new, though I do expect them back once news arrives - either proclaiming they predicted Positive/Negative results - Delete as appropriate.

Charlie - as I have previously posted - 10% of shares in issue is over 213 million shares so therefore 1% is 21.3 million. We rarely hit 1% daily so try not to stress over these days whether all buys or sales.

Once we regularly hit 213 million or more per day should we be getting excited. IMO of course.

This institutional offer is not how I had initially envisaged, in that it will not be the ordinary Bahamian who will get first dibs at the fund. I would imagine those with deeper pockets would fill theirs first (as in any capitalist country) and feed the general public an inflated slice if they can afford it. So whilst a mutual fund I doubt it will help the majority. In saying that the SWF would hopefully drip down enough to benefit normal residents.

I note the UP TO 100 million - this gives a get out for the company if not subscribed enough, as well as the impetus in that such a short timescale will hopefully focus the minds of interested parties to get in quick.

Overall this shows the company is carrying out what it said it would on the run up to the drill.

I have seen some moments of positivity whilst we await some news whether good or bad.

There is little going on with regards to mega millions being bought or sold so there is no large con going on - less than a single percentage of shares being traded in issue in a single day. Whilst that amount is enough to make some money trading - the moves in the SP have meant little money has been made whilst the SP has been fairly stagnant.

There has been little as far as the way of leaks from the company - the stories which came out early last year from the ministers in the Bahamas were but red herrings and were nothing to do with the posters on the board, though we all enjoyed the possibilities these stories suggested.

There are still a number of questions to be answered and I do believe the majority here understand that this is still a huge risk here and nothing is guaranteed.

That said I am a glass half full sort of a guy which keeps me from being miserable - I am usually the bloke who makes someone else smile and that makes me happy. Today I met with my grand-daughter aged 4. She goes to nursery and realised she still cannot say please in Spanish - I thought it was poor for four.

It is the Chinese year of the "rat" come 25th January - I hope the description given for the rat is truer than the usual description of a rat.

Being born a Rat is nothing to be ashamed of. In China, the Rat is respected and considered a courageous, enterprising person. It is deemed an honor to be born in the Year of the Rat and it is considered a privilege to be associated with a Rat. Rats know exactly where to find solutions and can take care of themselves and others without problems.

The RNS's are due - perhaps some may feel a little overdue. This week has been a typical New Year week with mainly apathy within the markets. Next week will be a full one and I do hope we get some form of update then. Won't hold my breath and my glass is still half full. Numbers traded are still looking fairly timid.

10% of current shares in issue (excluding those options etc) is 213,476,278 - trading days when that number is exceeded will give us an indication that something is afoot. Days like today with a little under 6 million traded on LSE is a fraction of 1%.

I used to get excited about the sudden rush of 20 to 40 million in a day but the reality is that it is meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Keeping my feet on the floor I'm afraid.

I think the mini surge in poo (due to the US/Iran issues) is more likely to be the cause of today's movement, though I would really like to see some good trades coming through and then that long awaited RNS with some great news.

...nothing to confirm any take off at the moment. We are of course due for some news - hopefully great news.

The couple of decent trades along with a number of 500,000 are a tiny portion of shares in issue, though nice to see after periods of silence.

The initial target is to if out target could produce commercially viable quantities - the initial drill area is only one area we have interests in.

We will just have to wait and see what occurs when we get the results.

At the end of the day - nobody actually knows whether we will drill and find oil in sufficient quantities until the bot goes under the seabed. We are right to have our individual concerns, bearing in mind we have been here for a decade or so.

We early birds did see this spike to over 20pps on much less share distribution - that was on no more than a suggestion we had a partner and going to drill.

We saw last year how we spiked to over 7pps on a similar shout - again on less shares in issue.

We can all predict a number should we discover a reserve - and that figure would be life changing for most here.

However, we may not find oil and that is the risk we are all apparently willing to take - and hopefully that will not happen nor be life changing for anyone here.

It is nearly Christmas and I will be concentrating on other things for a week unless a little tweet comes along tomorrow morning, though to be honest I now doubt that will occur.
