Suggest you write your voter number top right. Leave well alone the White paper only for people who want loan notes. The offer will be paid 23 March if the vote against is unsuccessful

Ratings are absolutely not a waste of time. Are you expecting instant results? Value as opposed to growth investing is not like that and patience is the biggest virtue. Look at Warren Buffett as a good example of this.

In the placing of £1.28 million around 21.11 this was done at 20% premium to the then sp. Mainly came from private equity group Somerston and next from Laurier part converting a loan he had made to the company. nothing to be ironic here - looks very bullish to me.

When you studied charts did you include-the theories of W F Gann, Elliott waves and Krongatioff (not sure of spelling) curves. Gann is particularly interesting.

What an react chart. Gradually moving upwards. With its connections to Apple the French/ Italian company with a quote in the Us is still good value for money. My little secret!

There was a big article in the trade press some while ago now. He did say it was risky and could go either way! His other big tip was bango which halved at one point and then recovered somewhat. The fundamentals appear quite good here and I do not understand the shorting of such a small company.

Just learned this is being shorted which does not help. I know that the fund manager of Marlborough Special Sits was keen on it.

Firstly hopefully it's the weakest from the Euro to GBP since 2008 not the other way round! Secondly I have researched the price situation etc. For R griffiths he got rid of about 500,000 shares 11 January reported 14 January taking his total holding to 7.9 million. Interestingly these were sold cum div ex div date being yesterday. The drop on rice may well be as the div is twice that of a year ago. Griffiths is acting in a concert party Blake having3.1 million, Seven 4.5, Cream .83k and Oak 140 k Griffiths hi,self 77k. The results continue to impress. Nothing to worry about for holders here.

If you hold shares in either in a SIPP or ISA you will hear or should by the provider. One of my holdings are SiPP and have indeed received an e mail with a deadline of 25 Febrauary. Note that this is not on a vote so you do need to make your mind up one way or another.

It is not quite as simple as that. Sometimes if you do nota accept an offer you remain a minority holder considered hostile. You may then get a further chance to be bought out later.

Just checked the RNS. It is the details of the offer with voting paper attached. Not the actual acceptance papers. As usual in these cases. Surprised the registrar did not mention this to me. I specifically asked for timetable! Hope this reaches me in Italy all right. Apparently no problem having a foreign a address.

Having been in stocks and shares as a professional for many years (since 1968) IQ know plenty about corporate actions, from rights, scrip, placings, IPOs etc etc. I have never known a registrar to tell anything other than the truth - it would be illegal for them to do anything else as it would give unfair advantage. Anyway the .16th has come and nothing announced so I think we just have to take what I have been told as Gospel. I have this trust holding dating back to 1997 and a SIPP one just about 5 with a top up a year ago. So I know this company quite well. A lot of people seem to be expecting a miracle which will not happen. A 56% shareholder holds a lot of bolts to his crossbow!
