I have had another look. Your re quite right IOM legislation applies and therefore the dividend is paid gross unlike the UK. But to add to the confusion in euros so exchange rate makes a difference. sorry to have misled everyone. Jumped to conclusions a dangerous thing to do. I cannot apologise enough.

I have just remembered that the divs are in currency I think euros but could be wrong. If so there may be withholding tax after all. Does anyone know?

Yes you do not declare ISA to tax man. But divs are NOT paid gross but net of an assumed rate of 10% under what is known as an imputation system. Outside an ISA further tax to pay if higher rate payer otherwise evens Stevens. But interest is paid minus tax quite different. This is repaid organised by the ISA company!

This is because of the imputation system of dividend taxation. Higher rate payers have extra to find so ISA is worth it for them. Remember that interest for example from corporate bonds have withholding tax which is reclaimed automatically by the ISA provider.

Sold Stmicroelectronics on Thurs. had made 25% in 4 months and looked tippy. As in euros looked at Paddy QPower but thought too many betting shares! Settled for Ryanair!

Have just taken a positio here having sold Stmicroelectronics another share in Euos. O'Leary himself says trips to New York or USA generally are years away if they happen at all. I like Ryanair the only airline from UK which flies from Perugia.

I do not think there is a div on Sportech. However, you know there is here and I think on 888. GVC is very good having a yield of 8% and the SP is Increasing over time. I am taking a look at Paddy Power too.
