Remember you get no tax back on divs in an ISA but you avoid higher rate tax. However, interest does have tax refunded. AIM shares do not usually attract stamp duty in or out of ISA and some such shares are not due IHT if held for 2 years

Now here is a really exciting prospect with the price shooting up with high volume. Why?

Exciting share here but no UK comment so far!

This person has only ever posted 5 remarks on 3 shares all disparaging not believing divs or bonuses. Classic de-ramping with little knowledge of the subject. Easily discountable.

T/o in this share today just £75k worth not enough for a Ferrari! And the commission peanuts. However 3 brokers follow it. It may be small but busy nonetheless. their adverts keep popping up when I am looking for something else. A well run relatively small company in a good sector and take over prospect. What's not to like?

I assume you have no knowledge of the markets or how they work! Why would profit takers come in immediately the shares have gone xd which usually lowers shares price. No sense

Well I bought them partly because of bid prospects. However, I think WH hoped to get them on the cheap. That is why they were given the cold shoulder by the 2 controlling families. I like gambling shares have done very well in GVC which still yields. 8% not so well in Sportech because of the battle with HMRC. Also just bought 32Red another bod prospect.

Why would a dividend chaser buy the share after it has gone ex div? Makes no sense at all. In my case very happy. Bought cum div and sp hardly moved ex div. Now I really was a div chaser but with Great Expectations! What the Dickens made me say that!

Interesting that Chase Nominees have 29.5%. They provide digital platforms for Sky, Virgin, BBC and ItV not companies known for headquarters in Spain or Latin Smerica. Some people have funny ideas! But they are gone now. This share is well below most radar. Except for Chase of course

So where should the shares be quoted? It may have some foreign operations but it is a british company registered in London. It is not Chinese!

Hi John. My Fortune Oil takeover money just came. I've invested in 888 and 32Red. I seem to like gambling shares, no pun intended.

I would not assume the price is capped. Although recommended by the board it is not yet a done deal. In such a case anyone thinking another bid might come is in an arbitrage position. Also for large holders there is 6p to be made and without commission of it goes through. Sadly not free of CGT.

Just received sale proceeds from Fortune Oil take over and with other money invested here and in 32Red. Already have GVC which has doubled and Sportech which hasn't. But Henderson have got nearly 30% in the latter. GLA

Just bought quite a few (by my standards) of these and also 888. I already have GVC and Sportech. Thee two are both cum div. 32Red goes ex div tomorrow. GLA
