I read it that the company is merely facilitating the deal by paying the broker fees, they are not actually buying back any shares.

I find the the way the company diseminates information across RNS's, Webinars, twitter etc means that it can be easy to forget, lose track of what is the latest news / position, as an example although both the last two webinars are now available on the company website under media, the Q & A on the same website relates to the April webinar only, to view the latest (May) Q & A you have to go to the Investor meet company site! Go to the "about us" on the company website and it still talks of FID for Aphun as being 2025.

If you have grown with PANR then its probably easy to know where all the relevant (latest) positions but for new investors not always so easy particularly when there is the added topic of the Alaska LNG also.

Not a criticism of the company just an acknowledgement of issues that investors particually newer ones can face.

Flaring of gas in production wells is severly limited under AOGCC regulations, gas would have to be reinjected which could enhance oil production, our current business case is I believe based on on one reinjection well per four producing oil wells so not an unknown scenario.
