Is it just MMs that introduce false orders to the order book or does it include brokers and large players with direct access to the market and in your examples where the Ask is artificially raised by a spoof Buy order is the spread widened to ensure the MMs still buy cheap from sellers?

We will be logging whilst drilling the lateral so there is every chance that we shall plenty of "new" news as wll as more detailed analysis of data revealed in the last RNS, all to play for.

So Alkaid Took 20days to drill a lateral length of 5,300 ft, run a 5 ½ inch liner, cemented and tested for integrity.

Taken as linear progress, that works out at 265ft/day.

If we’re now going for a 3,500ft lateral at Dubhe, then pro rata that going to take about 13.2 days.

If we assume they started the lateral on Sun 24aug25 [With Erich saying on the video: I’m at the Dubhe pad now, where the rig is drilling the Dubhe1 horizontal lateral] – and he does say: is drilling – not: about to drill – then we might expect lateral TD on ~Sat 6 Sept25 or Sun 7th.

All we know is that Mangrove have not declared since the 15/08, they have been delinquent in reporting in the past (even attributing short to wrong company) so may be their true position is different but ...

Supposedly MM's provide market liquidity, get rid of them and it may just make it harder for small investors to buy and sell small cap shares.

Just looking at the ASK during the run of trades at 10:12:52 does make me wonder if its just coincidence or whether there is more happening behind the scenes, unfortunately if the latter what can we do?

Did you watch the video yesterday? pretty sure they said 5.5" pipe for horizontal.

President Trump meeting South Korean President today, in interview before meeting the President once again trumpeted Alaska Oil & Gas.

"Trump continues to say South Korea needs oil and gas, and the US will be trading it with them."

I am sure some of the experienced O & G people can tell us more but I think there is a route that GBP (particularly as a small explorer) has to follow, part of that involves the collection of data as we drill the lateral to help in the fracking design.

When it comes to news flow during the drill GBP are damned if they do and damned if they don't, there are posters on here who want blow by blow notifications and others who would be almost content with an absense of news ( all to plan) until final results are ready, me I'm somewhere in the middle :-)

Think newsflow so far has been quite good.

" The Company will host a webinar on 9th September, 2025 to share the results of the Dubhe-1 drilling operation and preliminary insights into the scale of additional prospective resources encountered in the SMD-C and the Slope Fans."

No mention of flow testing and indeed the RNS also states;

"At the same time, the Company is analysing data to optimise the design of hydraulic stimulation plans in the lateral. The Company is also tendering several service providers for these operations and a decision is expected to be made on these matters during the next two months. The Company will issue further guidance on this plan of operations when available."

The plan of operations submitted to DOG gives an indication of flow testing from October and potentially into 2026.

Alkaid production unit looks to have stood up to the Alaskan climate very well and internally appears still almost as new cosmetically, sure we will have ensured all systems go prior to need.

Reckon distance between Dubhe-1 & Alkaid-2 based on GPS coordinates is 10.65 miles.

There is also the financing aspect that any sales contract with gasline company would release to enable development of resources.
