Thanks for posting the link up, Troajan. Leon seems excited about Kabwe as usual. He makes a very good point about more cars becoming electric in future, and it seems the best batteries are being made using Vanadium - talking of V, anyone seen the price now? Currently around $16 per lb so it's creeping up...
I can see why Leon wants the Kabwe project so badly, as PGM's aren't doing very well price wise, but Lead, Zinc, and Vanadium can be extracted and sold for much bigger profits. It seems Kabwe had been his main focus this year, and he also mentions more projects in Zambia in the pipeline. Could they be looking to build a bigger plant to incorporate these projects into Kabwe? There are plenty of waste dumps to go at and could be very lucrative for BMR/JLP.
