Apologies for the late reply, this website is playing up and I can't post from my PC (mobile seems to be working fine). I understand your frustrations with AB, I've certainly had mine in the past. If BMR and JLP can deliver a very profitable plant without diluting our interests at all, or by very little, we will be on to a winner... Perhaps then we can all forgive AB. I know things could have turned out better but we have to give him a chance to redeem himself and make the best out of the situation we are in. I guess at this point we have no choice and we need to have faith in AB coming to a good resolution for us shareholders. If all goes well and the SP hits 50p+ at some point in the future, I'm sure even you won't be complaining too much. Have a good weekend bud.

Hello Dambuster/plumbus. He didn't actually say they would build a bigger plant but you can guess from his comments JLP are planning to do so. I didn't directly ask about funding it but I did drop the hint, he didn't give an answer. Like plumbus said it might be a case of a larger placing or it ends up a 50/50 JV. Remember JLP can't go above 50% ownership of the Kabwe project without it being deemed an asset disposal. I would rather have the dilution as maintaining our 60% profit share will benefit us much more over the long run... We'll just have to wait and see what the plans are but if the plant ends up costing say £4m, we will have to find £1.2m to contribute towards it. Although, if the private share subscription goes ahead as planned, it will raise £1m for working capital and up to £1.6m from the 5p warrants. (Could the £1.6m be used towards the plant build?).

JLP want to build a plant that is of the right size and generates good profit, they are pretty excited about scaling up. We have some BMR representatives involved who are based in Zambia. He tells me Colin is keeping an eye on things, doesn't sound like he's having an awful lot of involvement where BMR are concerned at the moment. I asked AB what his plans are surrounding BMR and if he's going to stick around. He said he's got to deliver this for shareholders, it's important to him. We need a resolution going forward and, if he wasn't there, there probably wouldn't be much hope for the company. I said hopefully you can pull it off, he said absolutely, it's my job.

I asked him when are we likely to resume trading, he just said “over the next couple of weeks we have a pretty exciting work programme being developed in Zambia and we will announce that when we can.”

I asked about the remaining JLP shares we own, he said they don't have any intentions to sell any at the moment. He mentioned the lock in period and I said I thought that it had been lifted, he said it was only lifted to pay Blue Square? (I’m pretty sure we can sell up to 50% anyway after a 6 month period has lapsed, which it has).

On a final note I asked him what are the plans for the Star-Zinc JV, when are we likely to introduce the Zinc from there into Kabwe? He said that's the idea but it's at least 12 months away... He said keep an eye out for RNS's and we are coming up to a critical time which is exciting..."

No probs. Yes, AB mentioned exciting updates, he seemed quite enthusiastic. Let's hope the updates live up to expectations... Watch this space.

It's probably best to forget about the old money, BMR has changed, it's a different beast. Let's just hope us long termers get to walk away with a profit some day... Been invested 6 years and 6 days today. I'd have to check the purchase receipt to see if it's been 6 hours lol.

Fair enough mate, don't blame you as it's been a long wait. We are fast approaching 5 months of suspension. Another week and this meeting should have taken place, hopefully an update will follow shortly after.

It's time to find out what the plans are and where BMR shareholders stand, no more BS (and I don't mean Blue Square lol).

I reckon that's what the payment to BS was all about, extend/remove the conditions, allow us to produce Vanadium as soon as we commence production. I doubt very much that we will need to worry about the licence. JLP aren't in this to lose money, they're in it to make it!

The $800k payment might have been well worth it...Just hope the church gets a new roof out of it.

sidebar, I think even a 5tph plant would be very profitable (with the Vanadium sales), but when you consider we would only process 43,800 tonnes per year out of over 6m tonnes, it hardly seems worth it.

Something around the 10-15tph to start with would be much better and would probably bring down the production costs, even though the initial financial outlay for the plant build would be much higher - which begs the question; how will BMR pay for their share of the plant? I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Apologies, I thought I had made my post stunningly obvious, allow me to elaborate.... Originally in the BMR RNS is states that the project plans would be completed and presented to BMR by the 14th. Then Leon states these will be presented to the ZG on the 20th. Now it's pushed back to the end of June and Alex states that they won't be able to conclude all plans until this meeting has taken place..Hence no meeting taking place on or before the 20th. That's why I said it has been delayed further (from the 20th).

Hi mikey baby, sorry it took so long to reply, I was on a conference call with Alex and Leon. I think Colin was in the room too but he was too busy pecking seed off the table to talk. Alex was telling me he’s switched his hairdressers, he wasn’t happy about the last lot not drying his hair properly, and this new place also does a pedicure whilst you get cut. Leon said he’d been out on his yacht hunting some Blue Wales, he managed to catch one by jumping in the sea with no diving equipment, and only armed with a rusty spear gun – that guy is talented. I digress, let’s get down to brass tax. I was told there’s nothing to worry about, BMR won’t go bust in a hurry. The ZG are too busy counting their bribe cash so they’ve had to push the meeting back. Leon said he’s happy with this as he’s currently behind with his plans. It’s another one week delay on top of the recently announced one week delay… I have to dash, I’m off to the seaside… Let me know what your boat looks like just in case I see you sail by, I’ll give you a wave – toodles old chap!
