Plenty of Muppets show up on here telling us BMR are finished. None of them seem to be able to give a reasonable explanation as to why though.

Realistically this company will survive one way or another as JLP have sunk plenty of money into BMR, they are the biggest single shareholder and are currently building a plant at Kabwe. Without BMR PLC the land and tailings would be sold off to the highest bidder, and JLP will likely lose out.

The only trolling mike does is on LSE.

Not sure if this is our site? It mentions the Kabwe mine and EPL, but then mentions Black Mountain which isn't in Kabwe. Good to see that the police are actively trying to stop them. I wonder what deterrence's JLP are looking to put in place to stop these illegal miners? I'd hate to think how much metal they have stolen from us over the years.

Let's not get excited about JLP's progress just yet. Let's wait until they've actually completed the plant and have it up and running. It'll be interesting to see if they achieve it on time. So far they've let us down on a few deadlines. If they miss their new 'end of August' deadline, I won't be impressed, and I'll be assuming they'll miss all deadlines after that too.

Sidebar, I didn't say it was, I said hopefully it will be. From what I've read JLP are doing a decent job and they haven't mentioned any problems or challenges, it's all been pretty positive. The reason BMR didn't achieve production on its own? Well we had a crook running things, and since then we've had to start again with planning and getting permissions from the authorities in Zambia. We've also struggled raising enough money to actually build a plant, but now we have a partnership with JLP I think those problems are behind us, even though it's cost shareholders dearly. I'm still feeling confident that this will turn out to be a decent investment, it all rests on why happens over the next few weeks though, but I'm fairly confident...

As far as the plant is concerned I don't think AB has much say at all. We appointed JLP as operator of the project so I guess it's all in their hands. I'm happy to leave it with JLP but I just hope they can actually bring the project in on time, and on budget. They haven't done so well with some of their existing projects, but hopefully they have learned from their mistakes, and Kabwe will be a fairly easy project to bring online, and into profit.

Foggy, agree, less than 3 weeks and we will know where we stand. Hopefully with a Nomad, a placing, and trading back on AIM, not in the bin lol.

Not sure how many PI's we have but AB seems confident that he can raise enough money from 3 investors for now, that's good enough for me. I have already put plenty of money in here so I'm not fussed.

I agree with you partly but I don't feel that my phone calls are a waste of time. I remember when we had to make the final payment to Bushbuck for SZ and the deadline had lapsed with no update. Some people were on here thinking the worse, I picked up the phone and was told it was paid on time.

It's little things like the above that help reassure/inform shareholders of what's going on, even if not everything transpires as it should. If I (and others) hadn't have posted my convo up the other day, you would be completely in the dark to what's going off and what the plan is. Personally I'd rather be kept in the loop.

I'm not saying we can't sell the JLP shares but I doubt JLP would be happy about it. Also It makes sense to to get the placing done sooner rather than later due to warrants being attached within 6 months (if that's still the plan), as that will give us more money to play with. Remember this placing was supposed to happen around mid June after JLP made its decision...

By holding onto the JLP shares it also gives us a chance to sell them at a higher price as and when we need to. We had to dump a fair chunk at a lower price to when we first received them, so it would be nice to sell those well above 3p if possible . If the 3 investors do put money in at this stage then I will see it as a big vote of confidence.

It's risky because it might not get approved, then we are screwed. The best option is to raise money and relist. Besides, we probably don't have enough working capital to last us till early August, let alone until JLP make their decision, so how do you purpose we last until then? (Without selling JLP shares). AB said nothing has changed since the 3p placing announcement, so I suspect it's still going ahead at that price... Perhaps he is playing chicken, but I wouldn't want to call his bluff.

MM, you was telling us all that JLP would buy BMR then you came on the BMR board saying JLP would never buy such a carp company. The only thing that is laughable is your constant change of story, and your ridiculous price targets for GLR lol.

Clearly an extension is too risky an option or might not even be an option. The investors will need to put the money in or it'll put us in a difficult situation. So they have little choice if they want the company to have a chance at survival. If AB can persuade them to put the money in then I'm all up for trading resumption. It's been a long time coming. I get the impression that we can't wait until JLP makes their 'desicion', we need money now and the 3 investors have that money.

You've been banging on about JLP getting their mitts on BMR's assets for months, when will it happen? I told you the ore from Star-Zinc wouldn't be introduced into Kabwe for about 12 months, you were adamant that it would be introduced by year end/early 2019. Well I was told by AB that it's at least 12 months away, and given JLP's plans to build a larger plant, who knows when Kabwe will start producing...

As far as BMR's survival is concerned, we're only a Nomad and a placing away from relisting, which shouldn't be too difficult. Put it this way, if we end up delisting from AIM, JLP will likely kiss goodbye to the entire project.

Hi VIG, I won't be able to get any details about the plant, it's all in JLP's hands. It sound like BMR have very little input where that's concerned. He told me that we are aiming to relist by end of this month.

Yes, I will ask him. Although I don't think they have moved to phase 2 yet. I will question him about the funding of the plant, see if there is a deal of some sort in place. If anyone else has any other questions let me know and will try to ask.

It's possible that JLP are providing additional funds for the build as of now, but I don't believe that this will come at any extra cost to BMR. They have to commit £2m for the build anyway, and they won't receive this money back until we are producing. Also JLP were supposed have all these plans completed by February (according to Leon) so they can't expect to charge us anything when they keep pushing the date back. I know we had the licence taken which may have caused some delays, but according to BMR/JLP, work was still going ahead, and we got the licence back within 2 months. I don't think that justifies the amount of time it's taken JLP.

What can I say, this is BMR and nothing ever seems to make sense. Yes, I will be calling him again next week for another update, probably Thursday. I will keep you all posted.
