Hi All, spoke to Alex at 15:35 today. Just a quick update from him plus I asked some questions.
Firstly I asked what are JLP doing to support us relisting, he just said we have a plan in motion and he will announce that when he can.
Told him that I’d read the JLP RNS and that it didn’t mention the V circuit, he just said it was only an update on current progress at Kabwe. Also mentioned that JLP said they would conclude and announce the plans by end of August, but now it says Q3 which could by anything up to the end of Sept. He said he’s hoping they will update, it’s taking forever but it’s slightly out of his control.
Asked him if it’s possible to apply for an extension in case things don’t go to plan. He said on the basis of what he’s got going, he doesn’t think we will need to apply for an extension. The new Nomad has indicated there is a possibility that we could (if needed).
I asked if he has any plans in place just in case the worse happens and we have to delist, he just said he has a plan in place and hopes to announce that soon, he couldn’t say anymore. I asked him when that was likely to be announced, (after doing some calculating) he said Fri 3rd August. Told him it was a while to wait and asked are we likely to hear anything before that. He said we are still subject to AIM rules so if he has to announce something he will. Told him I just want to see us back trading again, it’s been a long time…He said the situation is a pain in the neck and the most important thing is protecting the licence.
I asked what’s to stop us from selling JLP shares to raise some W/C then signing the Nomad, he just said we can only sell JLP shares in 25% tranches and that will give us enough working capital if/when needed.
I said if all goes well would you be willing to do a Q&A session with shareholders or do an interview (like Leon does). He said he feels the need to come clean and tell everyone what’s been happening and why it happened. I think he is having to keep tight lipped about certain things at the moment so can’t be so open.
Asked if we could get any pics of the plant, he said not much has happened there recently so it’s not worth it at the moment but will in the future as plans progress.
On a final note I asked what the next news is likely to be. He said, as I said we have a plan in motion and 3rd August (maybe). Told him I’d hopefully talk to him closer to that date…
