In answer to your question I'm here and just as gobsmacked as everyone else about how a business with so much potential is in this position. Management briefings via RNS told a different story to what has unfolded. i.e. we were briefed via RNS that we were going to be in profit month to month this financial year. This was going to be a major milestone moment. We were informed at the 6 month stage that half year revenue was £3.3m, a 22% improvement on the previous 6 months (H2 21: £2.7m), half year losses were down to £0.4m, a 76% improvement on previous 6 months (H2 21: £1.8m loss) and following the £2.7m fundraise on 14th March last year GFIN was well capitalised, with a move in to profitability (All per guidance from RNS after RNS last year). The picture we were given appears to be the polar opposite to what has happened. If they had delivered - and that's what they told us they were doing - the recovery was well underway for a share price uplift. No wonder the CEO has gone but like many on here we have been let down big style. Lets hope the turnaround commences today as this could be a great business if managed correctly. The Linkedin briefing sounds very encouraging, thanks for posting it. Fingers crossed its another major US name stocking Microsalt, hot on the heels of Hannaford and US Salt.

It certainly looks like Microsalt is heading to be TEK's first billion dollar portfolio company, which for those that have been invested here for a while will know is the ultimate aim for each of Lucyd, Microsalt/Salarius, Guident and Belluscura.

There's a huge appetite, excuse the pun, for salt that delivers 50% less sodium worldwide. This year the table salt production industry in the USA alone is going to be worth $235.9m. If Rick, Mike, Javier and the team can continue winning these kind of contracts then the Microsalt business is going to be worth a fortune. Great news for TEK too!

* Back in May 2018 Webis went from 1p to over 6p in less than a week and at the end of March 2021 we had a similar rise to over 6p, so yes anything is possible here.

* Check out the comments made by our chairman, Denham Eke, about Webis being a takeover target that I posted earlier this week. It's a cracking reminder of why we are shareholders in Webis because this will multibag significantly if we get either the sniff of or an actual merger or acquisition approach. 6p will be just the start ......

In relation to the talk on here of a possible fundraise it is worth noting that finance could also come from:

1. A licencing deal, which would then provide the requisite finance rather than a fundraise
& / or
2. Venture capitalists keen to back an early-stage business like GDR will also be showing increased interest in our company now. A slice of our business at the current price will be worth a lot more to a VC in 3 years time, which is there normal modus operandi
& / or
3. A HNWI could invest several million in to GDR

1,2 or 3 or a combination of 1,2 or 3 are other ways that GDR could raise funds. We have a credible product now - with another in the pipeline (stroke test) - which will be of interest to VC's, HNWI's and the pharma sector.

It is also worth reminding all on here that it is a no brainer that big pharma will be looking at both our AIHL MT-RNR1 ID test and our CYP2C19-ID test for stroke patients. These are both BIG innovations in the pharma sector and GDR own them both. i.e. Our IP and technology will command a serious acquisition or licencing price tag.

Yes, we certainly should be hearing more on Guident. Also more significant news due on both Lucyd and Salarius shortly too. A reminder of what IC had to say a few weeks back about forthcoming TEK newsflow in early 2023....

* 25p a share in GDR today (MCAP £24m) could be 250p a share (MCAP 240milion) in GDR very soon or in multibag terms x 10 of our share price today.

* As we know in the pharma sector £240million is a small amount to a major pharmaceutical company if they want to bid to licence AIHL MT-RNR1.

* Then add our CYP2C19 stroke test in to the mix and our value increases much much more again for a buy out.

* Both our AIHL MT-RNR1 & CYP2C19 tests are global opportunities for GDR and it would not surprise me now that we have a credible and validated product that a major pharma steps in to licence AIHL MT-RNR1.

* Don't forget that M&A transactions in the pharma sector for small companies with innovative products have recently been in the billions of pounds, as per previous examples posted.

Yes and it's also worth pointing out the very upbeat messaging by our Chairman, Denham Eke, regarding companies approaching Webis about:

* "strategic alliances"
* "mergers" and
* "even outright acquisition opportunities"

Mr Eke's briefing last year to share holders was very intuitive. Check out the following soundbites:

* "Non-USA and certain European companies are experiencing severe regulatory issues, as well as margin problems, and appear almost desperate to be a part of the developments in the USA".

* "As a result, it should come as no surprise that WatchandWager continues to be courted by large corporations, and indeed smaller operations with a view to software deals, strategic alliances, mergers or even outright acquisition opportunities".

* "The Board assesses each opportunity on a case-by-case basis. It should be noted in the majority of instances, the Board takes the view that "they need us more than we need them"

* "We continue to protect our USA licensed presence as a core asset".

* "We are very aware of the increased consolidation in the industry and the economies of scale of strategic partnerships".

*" We will keep shareholders aware of any meaningful strategic developments with the Group, most likely in the USA, but possibly with international partnerships"

This screams M&A activity to me. Will we hear something on this soon.....

TOM has a huge risk / reward attached to it but the huge positive is that when the permit approval for the Utah field test was announced back in July 2019 the TOM share price shot up to 6p+ (over x 10 our current share price). If this pans out as we anticipate don't rule out a share price heading back up to where we were in July 2019. Good luck all TOM investors, Brighty

Encouraging update today re IFRS 17, which is already attracting attention: Just Group to target double-digit growth in yearly profit

UK retirement income market specialists Just Group says it is committed to target 15% growth in underlying operating profit per year over the medium-term under IFRS 17. For 2021, underlying operating profit was GBP210 million. It will also aim to deliver more than 10% return on equity under IFRS 17 for 2022, compared to 9.4% in 2021. As at January 1 last year, adjusted shareholders equity is expected to be around GBP2.1 billion to GBP2.2 billion.

IFRS 17 is a new accounting standard for insurers that was implemented on January 1 this year. Expects this new measure of IFRS 17 underlying operating profit to be comparable to IFRS 4 underlying operating profit. Just Group says it will release 2022 results on March 7.

Last month, Just Group said it is confident of achieving full-year guidance for 2022 citing the increase in interest rates as boosting in-force profits but leading to a lower new business margin.

The Ambry Genetics partnership is particularly interesting as this is the kind of business that could acquire YGEN. They’ve been working together since June 2021. collaborations like this are often the forerunner to M&A activity.

We know that Tom Schoenherr, Chief Executive of Ambry is on record as saying that the partnership with YGEN is about adding value. i.e. TICK in the acquisition box.

It’s also interesting to note that considerable momentum has been happening at YGEN

• Genomic Services revenues up 26%

• NIPT services up 50%

• NIPT category up 18% year-on-year

• 3 NIPT accounts won in the current financial year already. These 3 accounts are still to be announced by the way / could be RNS’d at anytime moving forward. Subject to size, scale, economics and who they have been won with could provide a significant boost to the share price.

• Ranger revenue now over $2.0m per year

The growth rate above would indicate that at some stage soon we are more than likely to hear of some positive commercial news on further collaborations, licencing deals or a takeover. The directors have been buying these shares relentlessly for a reason. Key message: You don’t buy shares in your own company if you know you are throwing good money down the drain. They have been buying for a reason….

Yes, investors are slowly catching on that the free to air element of ITV has hardly any value attributed it by the market currently. i.e. ITV Studios accounts for over 2/3rds of our current valuation. However, ITV's advertising revenue is over £1.5billion! This is being ignored by the market. When you add the ITV Studios and ITV free to air business together our value should equate to over 180p a share. Some background info below to digest for those that are interested:

Yes, 6 months ago we were over 32p. Our portfolio of Belluscura, Lucyd, Guident and Salarius are all proving to be sensational businesses. Value creation is really starting to happen here at last. Spot on CDF1. I totally agree with you:

* £945million to acquire Chuditch and Dunrobin from Boil (5p a share) would be peanuts to Shell after announcing $39.9 BILLION in profits today.

* Once we have ERCE's CPR this should put a rocket booster under our share price, which could see us at over 1p a share.

* Once we then have a JV announcement we could well be at your 5p a share prediction. All very possible.

* The CPR from ECRE for Chuditch is the next piece of the jigsaw - due anytime now - but don't rule out a move by a major player for Dunrobin imminently.

As you quite rightly point out £945million is only 5p a share.....

Agreed, it certainly looks like the momentum achieved by our SFOR monks in Q3 (up over 29%) is building nicely for the full year, especially as our top 50 clients' revenue is growing by an average of 70% year on year. These are big numbers. With EBITDA approximately at £120 million the results day in March (around 30th of the month according to recent briefings) is going to be impressive. If client conversion can continue to achieve the "whoppers" that Sir Martin alluded to back in November then the 500p a share suggestion looks very probable. 2023 looks exciting again for all SFOR investors.
