"Settlement of Legal Dispute" just confirmed.

* "N Brown Group plc is pleased to announce that full and final settlement (the "Settlement") has now been reached in respect of the ongoing legal dispute with Allianz Insurance Plc"

* "Under the Settlement, which is a negotiated settlement and made without admission of liability, JDW will pay the Insurer a sum of £49.5m in full and final settlement of the Dispute, below the sums claimed by the Insurer (which exceeded £70m inclusive of interest and costs). A provision of £25.5m in respect of the claims by the Insurer was recognised in the Company's balance sheet as at 27 August 2022. By the Settlement, the Dispute has been brought to an end".

* "The Settlement removes a significant element of uncertainty and distraction for JDW and allows the Company to focus on creating shareholder value through its core business activities as it continues its transformation".

* "The Company has sufficient liquidity to meet the cash flow requirements of the Settlement, including unsecured net cash of £82.9m as at 31 December 2022 as well as access to a RCF of £100m and overdraft of £12.5m, which are both fully undrawn as at 9 January 2023. Payment is expected to be transacted before the end of January 2023. After satisfying the Settlement the Company will retain a strong unsecured net cash position with material additional liquidity facilities remaining undrawn".

At long lost! It's fair to say that we can now all move on as the overhang of the last 2 years + has pulled the BWNG share price down due to the legal uncertainty. This should see us back up to the 70p-100p a share range during 2023.

Another 1 Billion plus deal for a clinical-stage pharma just announced via RNS from AZ. They are to acquire CinCor Pharma for an upfront cash portion of $1.3bn and a 121% premium over CinCor's closing market price on 06 January 2023. This is why we are invested in Sareum. Good luck, Brighty

Excellent news from GFIN today re our Athlos Tournament Platform being integrated into games from Playgendary, the global top ten mobile game developer with three billion downloads.

* Playgendary is a global top-10 mobile game developer. It publishes leading games such as Bowmasters, Tomb of the Mask and Kick the Buddy.

* Its games have more than three billion installs and 250 million players online every month.

* The Company works on ten or more projects simultaneously, continually adding to its pipeline of game titles.

*Athlos Game Technologies ("Athlos") has entered a one year rolling commercial agreement with leading global mobile game operator, Playgendary.

* The Athlos Tournament Platform will be integrated into Playgendary games starting in 2023. The game titles will be announced when ready to be launched.

* Athlos is 100% owned by Gfinity.

This is excellent news, especially with 250 million players online every month.

Come on Cliff and Konrad lets see TEK in the Sunday Times, Financial Times, WSJ, the relevant international trade press etc. TEK has a super story to communicate about how the company finds, acquires and invests in breakthrough technologies that improve the quality of life. Our portfolio of Belluscura, Lucyd, Microsalt / Salarius and Guident are brilliant examples of this and are fantastic businesses but at present TEK is missing every PR trick in the book to create a sustainable rise in our share price. It's certainly very interesting and as we know from the first peer-reviewed data of Phase I/2 Trial of Oral SRA737 from the 15th November 2022 update, (link below) which Sareum also "noted" 6 days later on 21st November via RNS:

* "SRA737 in combination with low-dose gemcitabine was well tolerated with lower myelotoxicity than has been seen at standard doses of gemcitabine or with other combinations of Chk1 inhibitors with gemcitabine. Tumor responses were observed in anogenital and other solid tumors".

That's more like it. A director buy from our Chair. Don't forget that the Sareum share price nearly doubled in 1 week the last time Stephen Parker halted the slide in the Sareum share price back on 23rd November 2021. Then he purchased 277,777 at 3.6p (new money 180p approx). That show of confidence by the Chairman significantly boosted the Sareum share price in 2021. Let's hope the same is repeated this time. Smart move. With H1 revenue up by 8.4% to £86.2m (H1 2021: £79.5m) and wireless revenue in H1 up 12.0% at £46.6m (H1 2021: £41.6m) things are starting to look encouraging here. The CEO is also delivering on the guidance, which is refreshing. Good luck, Brighty

Yes, having been here from the 6p days we are certainly on our way with our portfolio of Belluscura, Lucyd, Guident and Salarius all proving to be sensational businesses. TEK should be back up to the 30p a share range soon once people cotton on to the fact that each portfolio business is aiming to become a billion dollar company. i.e. value creation is really starting to happen here. We just need to see the market recognise what we know already. Some good PR editorial coverage in The Sunday Times, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and the trade press would be helpful now. A couple of points:
1. The BOD have not won many friends by delaying publication and then issuing the results today. That said, the rationale could be that a deal is being worked on hence the delay. Having worked on M&A deals I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt as it is clear that they are in talks with "strategic partners to identify the best way to support the business to deliver on the long term growth potential".
2. The overall focus on profitability is improving year on year and I'm more interested on the post-period highlights since July 1st.

· Appointed as esports strategy development partner of Saudi Pro League

· Chosen as delivery partner for Red Bull Home Ground Tournament

· Launched MVP of Athlos Game Technology platform.

I would suggest looking at the outlook section, see below. Some will say it is "jam tomorrow" but that also is where due diligence kicks in from a research point of view and if you believe the BOD then 2023 onwards looks positive. GFIN Outlook:

· The esports and gaming sectors continue to grow, forming part of a systematic change in the media industry towards digital, streamed and gaming related content

· While short-term success will still be impacted by overarching economic climate, in particular with reference to advertising rates within GDM network, the long term growth potential remains very strong

· The Company are engaged with a number of strategic partners to identify the best way to support the business to deliver on that long term growth potential.

I totally agree with you and don't forget that at the 6 month stage this financial year half year revenue was £3.3m, a 22% improvement on the previous 6 months (H2 21: £2.7m), half year losses were down to £0.4m, a 76% improvement on previous 6 months (H2 21: £1.8m loss) and following the £2.7m fundraise on 14th March this year GFIN confirmed it was well capitalised.
If there are no negatives in the next set of figures then a meaningful re-rate up to the 10p range looks very probable during 2023. In the short term 4p a share is likely if GFIN pleases the market by delivering on its guidance. Remember, the big thing the market is expecting is guidance that monthly profitability is happening moving forward. If GFIN deliver this we will be happy investors. The chance for a big multibag, I agree, is very possible if things pan out with Chuditch and Dunrobin. We know it does happen in this sector. For example, we have all witnessed OEX going from 0.07 to 0.40 and COPL going up over x 10 from 0.04 to 0.50 recently and then there's the Greatland mega rise to factor in as well. If this does take off then Allenby's latest broker forecast "sharply upgrading our Baron valuation" by a whopping x 8 will look like a bargain.

Another great deal by Rick Guiney and the team at MicroSalt to supply Hannaford Brothers. This is perfect ahead of the IPO. We just need to see a higher profile overall in the investor and business media of how TEK creates value from investing in new university-developed discoveries at Lucyd, Guident, Microsalt and Belluscura. Come on Cliff and the team at TEK stop hiding TEK and its amazing investments under a bushel. Our share price would be many multiples of today's price if TEK started really proactively shouting from the rooftops about our portfolio of brilliant university developed businesses that are evolving in to plcs. With 182 M&A deals globally worth $30 billion in Q2 of 2022 alone, a 67% increase in deal value year on year, the opportunity for an acquisition of Sareum remains very probable. That's why I am still invested in Sareum.

Like many LTH's on here I had originally bought in at 0.4 and sold a chunk at just over x20 at 8p but I'm still holding quite a few even after the consolidation as I expect further superb gains here. I've been buying more over the last week and interestingly every buy has shown as a sell here. Message: Don't believe the reds are all sells. Anyway, with with 182 M&A deals globally worth $30 billion in our sector in Q2 of this year Sareum still looks a great prospect. SOG's SRA737 posts over night on here are a great reminder of just what we have in our locker in addition to SDC1801 and SDC1802.

Back in 2017 PYC had 5 days of huge gains when it announced a relatively small contract win (with a major pharma) in November 2017 the share price went from 1.3p to 4.2p in one day. It then climbed the next day from 5p to 10p. It then climbed the following day from 10p as high as 32p before closing at 17.1p. Anything is possible with PYC. See below. Good luck, Brighty

MGC has issued an excellent update today re the pre-clinical trial of CimetrA . Highlights below. Big pharmaceutical companies will be monitoring developments here. This is another significant milestone just announced today.

* A pre-clinical study has now been completed on a model of cytokine storm in rodents using the CimetrA™ formulation, and has demonstrated an anti-inflammatory effect in three different dosages of treatments.

* The study results demonstrate CimetrA™'s effect on the anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines which support the previous anti-inflammatory results of CimetrA™.

Exactly. With the anticipated month to month profitability GFIN have guided the market about we should hit 4-5p a share soon (12 months ago we were over 4p a share). We should then be heading back up to the 10p range during 2023 if results are as per the guidance. GFIN could then hit its previous 20p a share range over the next couple of years thereafter once the amazing clients GFIN has attracted and acquired continue to add to the bottom line. Right sector.
