Never would have thought we would be struggling below 1p just before farm out news. This is much bigger than a single drill. Hopefully we will never see sub 1p again after news. FO should be supportive of SP rather than spike.

The way I see it is if Portland is commercial at 200bpd how can Kim not be at 440 bpd?

Now that we have drilled and are producing it must be commercial, in the worst case scenario, we continue producing off the vertical well? Site costs will be incurred in any case due to Portland Development. Completely agree we have not proven Kim commercial for development - there are too many questions over the geology and how to make it flow but we know it flows in some areas under some conditions. It will just take time to work out how to extrapolate across the rest of the acreage. All looks good for the Horse Hill site. which could conceivably be pumping out 2500 bopd from Kim and Portland within what has already been approved. thats my take anyway, Then we have the cash to test and develop Kim to our hearts content.

They never said that Kim was sub-commercial at HH. If (?) we are sending 2 or 3 tankers a day from Kim at HH then this would easily be commercial. BB is a different story but still its reference to the flow testing undertaken and there are options for improvements and testing that may still prove commercial.

I feel that is it more likely that there would be a sale of a subsided rather than a takeover. Only a very big player would want to take on HRZ and conventional, not ruling it out though..

The future of WINX is much more important to RMP than 88e. I'm not surprised they are talking it up in the Q report, they have so few assets - hence MCAP = Cash. We have committed to minimal spend (£200k?) and are keeping our options open. If someone want a piece of it to pay for a drill then i suppose that will be OK with DW, after all we are now looking at monetising our assets, not spending significant cash. We've got the data and the question will be if someone finds it attractive enough to pay for another drill on the already identified better location to the North. All IMO

Just keep wondering how they will reconcile the conv drills with HRZ potential underneath.

The reference to "Permitting is in place to drill two exploration/appraisal wells in the winter drilling season of 2019-20." in the earlier article, is this different to the Charlie 1 drill referenced in the June article? Both are on the IW Conventional yes?

We have most of the operational permits in place, but we’re working on minor amendments and updates to those permits as a result of refinements of the well location. The ice road to a location was originally permitted last year prior to completing interpretation of the latest 3-D shoot, but those results have allowed us to refine that original location,” he said.

Could be a few wells in the 2019/2020 programme....Charlie and one more? Stellar or Bravo would be nice but may have to wait on those.

Does anyone still have the link to the statement/new story from an 88e exec about updating permits that wasn't part of an official release? Cant seem to find it now. Should give an indication of the when the permitting stated. Pretty sure it was a good few months ago now.
