Now you guys know why I was questioning the AIM MMs for the pathetic 11% gain for most of the morning. I had a high conviction when I seen the 107m@6.2g/t being shared by Don Durrett at UK open that Canada would go ballistic. Unfortunately I have already massively extended (broken!) my portfolio risk rules or I would have bought more this morning - rules are made to be broken when the circumstances support it and OMI is too good an opportunity not to load up.

Canada dictating price for once, huge volume compared to the usual sleepy 1 or 2 trades per day.

My view is that the market is incorrectly not assigning any value to the potential at Pepas 2.

11% up today on this news is laughable when the MMs often walk the share down 5% a day in between news releases.

Don Durrett is well known in the junior space and he has reposted and commented on these results this morning. He has 50k followers on X, for perspective Rick Rule has 68k followers. That is very good publicity for when Canada opens.

The only disappointment for me is that the headline grade, absolute banger of 107.05@6.22g was not in the news release headline. Our directors are too old to learn new tricks it seems but they really should listen when experts who hold more shares than they do give advice.

Bring on Pepas 2!

Johnstoneo, first half sensible post I have seen from you in months. OMI have options here, pit minable Pepas could fund a lot of drilling. They will have no trouble getting a JV or selling off part of the land package if they need to. Gold in the ground will re-rate, just like the final product price is doing. They have at least 2m oz there at Apta and Pepas worst case scenario (I think they will find a LOT more tbh)

They will likely RNS this tomorrow. $2.2m cash as of today. New target north of Pepas mentioned as undergoing sampling and trenching.

Yes apg, I had not noticed it initially as I was looking for PEP19, but that is certainly a further new hole, lets call it PEP20, in the opposite direction into, and I guess terminating at, the Tesorito S fault. Perhaps PEP19 missed and Brad decided to do a "directors hole", he claims "to better define Tesorito S" but hopefully he uses it as a major headline as it is sure to be high grade from surface for approx 100m.

Apg206, I just looked at the latest video again, are you sure that it shows three new holes, 19, 20 and 21? The holes interesting the yellow fault area (which I make to be the SW fault) are holes 16 and 17A and 17B. As far as I can make out this model does not show any new holes - AGEOS you thought hole 19 was represented - are you sure?

I much preferred the earlier 3d models with the holes labelled.

I have to say I did not see a new high grade hole in the model, so thanks to apg206 for pointing that out, even if it is fully within the known structure. Hopefully OMI take heed of advice that Kilcona gave them previously to put the best results in the news headline, simply saying "Colombia update" is not going to get investor interest in the same way an RNS of "Ososur drills 54.1m @ 6.01 g/t Au (from surface) at wholly owned Anza project".

AGEOS, that type of detail is above and beyond for a retail board, thank you. I wonder if the area to the North that was mentioned in last RNS is the continuation? Hopefully they are doing some work there to define targets.

AGEOS, how likely is it that mineralisation is contained only in the keel between two faults? The RNS language that the faults "post-date mineralisation" would suggest this containment to be extremely unlikely and mineralisation at Pepas continues somewhere outside the fault boundaries as suggested by Kilconas post.

Forgive me your highness for not mapping out all steps to your satisfaction. I'm done with you Seingred, low value poster and now filtered. I clearly mean get on with the process if the resource is known.

Did the step-out drilling (PEP-19) fail and this is why we are being shown the model of the small zone of mineralisation between two faults? Disaappointing but at least if that is the case we can quicky define a small resource and get to work extracting while focusing on defining Apta (sadly at a much higher cost to drill).

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable about faults and what this model means can confirm, but my uneducated assumption is that the pepas mineralisation is contained within the small fault area.

Are the two faults indicated by the yellow and grey lines? Does this mean that the mineralisation is contained only between the yellow and grey area?

Welcome back mercedesman, and that is some trade I have to say. Congrats. I am also a buyer at these levels given the value that is being uncovered with cheap cost of drilling and quick assay turnaround.

A few bangers there from AGEOS and Kilcona. AGEOS, I was not aware that the recent drilling went underneath the westerly fault and found mineralisation, that seems significant when coupled with the comments about sampling to the North (which I assume they mean North within the PEPA target and not a completely new target North). PEP19 stepout to the SE should produce valuation gains if mineralisation countines in that direction as per management expectations.

Kilcona, I assume management will know of you from your work in the space, you have identified some quick wins they can implement that will unlock value, hopefully they listen and take those actions. Buying the dip here even though it is already my largest holding.

I believe our friend and geo expert AGEOS stated that he would give us an updated opinion after PEP16 results. Well, we got 17 and 18 as well so hoping for an update from AGEOS on these! As a layman, PEP18 looks insanely good and keeps the previous statements of expansion to the SE and NW intact. Further supported by statements of "tantalising" sampling to the North, which I will assume is NWerly, unless they are heading due North and found found further mineralisation beyond the PEP10 and 11 dusters?
