Great work again AGEOS, I always look forward to your posts. So, how does OMI stack up as an investment at current prices - is it in top 10, top 3 juniors? What other junior projects are out there that are better?

Happy New Year to all. I see the board has been quiet for a few days. Good, less bickering. PEP16 any day now. PEP17 soon plus I hope news on what the plan is for expanding and proving a maiden resource at Apta. Exciting times imo.

I guess some traders thought it would dip today so took profits hoping to get back in lower. Looking back to the big move in Oct 2020 the first breakout of 8p in early Sept resulted in a sideways chop for 4 weeks, retracing as low as 5p, then BOOM straight up to 45p. We have broken out of the 8p level again, but that does not mean straight up, some consolidation is OK in my book. We have some exciting drilling results to look forward to, any one of them could propel us to the next level.

Karl, Livermore summarised that as "be right and sit tight".

Islandgirl, Pepas is the game changer, it will not be sold or JVed. It can be mined at such a low cost, a few guys with shovels and a makeshift gravel filter would do the job. Pepas will be funding the building of a mine at Apta and exploration across 1000km2 of land holdings in Anza and El Pantano. OMI could be a mid-tier producer in 5-10 years with mcap 10x (all speculation of course, lets take one thing at a time).

Bhargav gets a lot of flak here, but he is right about some things. The voting it lack of it is a disgrace. I hold nearly as many shares as DrR and I voted to sack them all apart from Brad, my brokers system said "yes we have received your instructions" yet when Ososur release the AGM votes not a single director recieved a single vote out. Same thing via two different brokers. Secondly, the MMA JV was not terrible, just that OMI did not want to enforce it. I was not happy about that, but I am happy that it is behind us, and delighted to have Brad back doing what he does best.

We are going to see offers lifted here this afternoon, PMs are rebounding from recent weakness and for OMI specifically who wants to miss out on a highly likely major RNS on Monday morning? Not me. Have a good weekend all.

Good post Aaron and others of the same thinking. I don't see how anyone would be surprised by a raise given that they only had 500k cash at hand with a lot of drilling planned and paying consultants for resource definition work etc. The key for me was no warrants, and the raise seems to be a sensible amount, will allow for stepout drilling at Pepas which should see further gains and the next raise will be at a higher price. The market seems to agree, the usual MM reduction in price to match a placing was bought up very quickly this morning. Very hopeful for 2025.

Rob mate, no prediction from me, the whole PM sector took a dump from Fed meeting this evening. If that sector selling continues it will put a dampener on here, even with huge PEP15 results that are largely in the price now imo. If we get PEP16 as a monster and gold/majors turn then I expect we test 17p.

As others have said, it seems clear that PEP15 is another monster and has had to go for fire assays as over 5g/t. As each day passes the likeihood increases that PEP16 falls into this category also, which will multibag us in a day. PEP16 is a step out to the SW drilling towards PEP01. Does anyone know how deep they went with it? I am assuming at least 150m.

If 100m @ >5g/t then that is Tier 1 category.

One can look at the chart and map out support/resistance level etc, but for a low float stock it doesn't really matter if there is enough pressure on either side. On the last breakout of 8p we went to 45p within 3 weeks.

My understanding was that new shares were issued for warrants, they must be if the funds go directly to the company Treasury. So no buys at the market price would show up. I guess they could be sells, we have PP + warrants deep in the money, for quite a few million shares.

Somebody loaded up yesterday and only being reported today, I make it 2m shares if all over 200k were the same buyer in and around 7.6p. Another institution I would think.

I would not say "nothing new" from the presentation at all. Even for long-term holders. For me the question of strike potential is significant, I asked about distance to the eastern river as there has not been a lot of drilling east, and Brad said that he thinks the mineralised structure moves from SE to NW. This is important because we know from the MMA drilling that there is nothing directly North (unless they just hit a barren pocket). Depth is bounded it seems so the strike is critical and will determine how hard we bag based on Pepas alone. If they keep stepping out and hitting this will rocket due to the low float, best junior project in the market, everything working in our favour for once.

Crazy price movements in the past week on no news (RNS), but there must be news somewhere to be causing these swings?

As others have suggested it now seems increasingly likely that PEP15 has went for fire assays due to yet more high grade. I have been invested for 5 years and yesterday's webinar was the most positive I've seen. I personally cannot wait until they start stepping out SE to NW. Anyone who remembers the dismal turnaround of months for drill results during MMA days will be loving this quick turnaround.

Another institution maybe? Or a AIM whale? WHoever it was could not believe their luck that they could still buy under 8p.

Good to hear that Brad thinks there is more at Apta. Give this man a few drills ffs.
