RE: El Pantano31 May 2026 21:12
Nappy, you are full of it. "They did not find anything more that would justify further drilling or target areas" utter nonsense. It is expensive to have a camp there, and to drill, you assume because they ended as planned that they found nothing? Utterly ridiculous statement. Brad described El Pantano as a "major system" and "significant mineralisation" many times. If you ever look at the geological map of such systems, the motherlode can be quite deep, and this is a very large area. They have stuck a few holes in and pulled back to re-assess the data. Newmont will be reviewing the data also. Is this the right project for Orosur to do more on with their relatively small pot of cash? How far away are they from having data that would entice a major? These are the questions that Brad and his team will be assessing. There are other miners in the area with huge resources, El Pantano will be JV'ed imo.
The only thing you got right is the prioritisation of Colombia, but that in no way means that El Pantano is a zero.
