Rob, I don't try to trade illiquid stocks, for trading I use CFDs/spreadbets for leverage and mostly trade the big macro markets instead of individual names. Juniors a completely different approach, amazing projects with huge future value can sit unloved for many years by the market enabling significant positions to be built. Old-skool value investing and patience needed. l use fundamentals and project assessment then technical analysis to time decisions, daily candles or higher. 5.5p is the breakout here, given the warrant situation I expect to test it a few times before the real breakout but who knows, we could just slice through, that would be fun 😊

Pepas is a slam dunk open pit mine which would be used to fund further exploration throughout our massive landholdings in the region. We just need to get more idea of the size of it but 150@3g and the new ajoining artisinal tunnels with 95g+ samples gives me high confidence that it will be a viable open pit. £8m market cap!! hahahaha

Waterpool, exactly. OMI cannot be valued at 6-7m if they have a defined resource estimate of 1-3m. It is ludicrous and must re-rate. How far away are we from resource defination at Apta and then Pepas? We need that definition to boost the SP towards a JV or to raise for further exploration.

Rob, they arent going to buy millions, I would be shocked if they even put in £10k each. Sure they are crying poverty even while being richly compensated for doing very little for a number of years.

There is no reason for them not to buy, unless they have begun talks on a new JV. They have told the market everything else therefore the window for buying is open to them. Very sad that they cannot back their own work.

Seingred, your examples are part of the reason why Bitcoin CANNOT be money. Imagine, no economy cause everyone just hordes "money" as it buys you more and more every year. Who would take a risk in business and employ people when all that one needs to do is hodl your "money". Pff, it is a scam and will end in tears mark my words. Re: voting, I have my main holding via ii but a small holding via IG. I received a message via IG app that I could vote, clicked in and was presented with all the relevant information, I voted to sack all the Directors apart from Brad as I think he may be about to come into his element. Not that it will matter ofc. But this voting was a much smoother process than via ii.

A move to 5p is in no way an exceptional outcome for the majority of holders here. It was trading at 5p back in March/April upon "pens poised" and RNS stating drilling will commence. Now, drilling is actually commencing, and in addition we have had a very good RNS showing the high grades in and around Pepas (tunnels etc) that will no doubt be targetted. So why are we trading at 50% of the position back in April when things are much better now?

IMO, we should be able to move quickly to M&I at Apta given the data that has been collected over many many years now. That would place us at $50 per ounce valuation. As the project progresses to P&P and other areas are drilled then we will move to $100+. I would argue that $100 is the new minimum given the continued lack of Tier 1 findings as time moves by.

Lets say 1m oz can be proven, that is a mcap of $50m just for that. I think we could be looking at 3m+ just across Apta and Pepas, and there are many other targets in the existing 200km holdings about to double to 400km2. That is a massive landholdings in the most prospective area of Colombia. Now consider that OMI is unlikely to sell off part of the landholdings, the $50 per oz base case is incorrect, it is too low. Using $100 per ounce in the ground will show that the market has punished OMI far too harshly for the 2 year delay in exiting the MMA agreement.

Are we still early in the juniors? If the bull market in PMs continues I do not see how it is possible for miners to stay under pressure. The majors need to replace ounces and they look to the mid-caps and juniors to sniff out and prepare those projects. I just cannot see how a PM bull can continue and the miners not participate. And yes, I understand cost pressures, but really looking at the numbers being put out by Newmont and Agnico they are making record profits on gold. The junior sector is undervalued across the board imo.

There is far too much name calling and abuse on this board, not that I am blaming you, it has been going on for so long I am sure nobody even remembers who started it! I understand because people are frustrated with the lack of activity and shareprice in the last 2 years. Anyway,. regarding a JV, they simply must make one as they cannot fund the projects themselves via dilution at a mcap of £6m. I understand the strategy is to prove up maidan resources at Apta and Pepas which *should* give the Board bargaining power for the next JV.

OMI tweeted as relevant to Colombian mining. A JV with Collective makes the most sense in terms of unlocking Anza imo.

Good points Legal. I actually think that the move will start in Canada, OMI is under the radar and will stay that way until they can prove up a resource estimate. Once ounces in the ground are proved the Canadian's will start wondering why OMI is valued at 10% of its peers. Then we could be looking a rocket ship as MMers look to balance the prices across TSX and AIM.

The location and depth of the tunnels seems promising, market doesn't care = opportunity.
