Islandgirl, I am a longterm holder as I suspected the project was once of the best in the world from data many years ago before the MMA JV. I only held a small position then, but added slowly then aggressively from 8p to 2p even though I was furious at the handling of MMAs care&maintenance, I stand by my numerous rants on this board about that.
However, it was clear well before the signing of the official MMA exit that a deal had been done thus providing excellent opportunity for investors in the 5p-2p range, especially those of us on AIM following the story, as the Canadians had not heard of Orosur at that stage. That low price coincided with severe pessimism in the sector otherwise I am not sure we would have seen 2p. I have a decent following on X (sndmnystckr) and a lot of junior mining investors that I communicate with and NOBODY had Orosur on their radar until the drilling started again this year, I am sure realisation by Kilcona and other bigger players, including institutions, can now drive us multiples higher given the right newsflow. There are a LOT of eyes on it now.
Brad had said "Agnico drilled the wrong way at Pepas" and we had that steller Pep1 hole, but even I have been very pleasantly surprised at the grades uncovered since, plus they continue to find more targets in the surrounding area including more artisinal tunnels. The progress we have made this year is of top tier potential and I am very glad to hold as my largest portfolio position.
