RE: This and my other investments26 Apr 2025 14:38
Adam, 200k at $1k per ounce profit? How much do you think a few shovels/digger/scoop and sifting machine costs? The profit per ounce for such high-grade from surface will be closer to $2500 at gold prices of $3300, that changes the maths significantly. AGEOS estimated back in Feb 250k ounces in the Pepas 1 basin. Let's see if drill 33 opens that to the SE.
At current gold prices that is $825m of gold in the Pepas basin zone which should be very cheap to extract. My estimate is $2500 profit (at current gold prices) = $625m PROFIT. These numbers include nothing for Pepas North, Apta, El Cedro or El Pantano.
It is clear, and Brad confirmed this in recent interview, that Pepas will not be sold or JVed as "gold in the ground" for anyone else to extract. This type of high-grade from surface is extremely rare, I seen an article which I may have posted here previously that it is a top 5 open pit mine in the world (based on grade, not overall volume).
So whoever was dumping shares on the recent RNS was a trader, not a decision-maker of medium or longterm value.
