Minerva - low-ball cheek7 Oct 2019 08:44
Dear all. For those worried about VH getting MTRO on the cheap, his strategy could just be to sign. raise the SP. In 2010, my investing foolishness reached new heights at Minerva, commercial property co. At one stage they were at risk of going bust, then Nathan Kirsh, the South African investor, put in a pxxx-taking low-ball cheeky bid. I sold out just above his offer of 50p. The fact he bid drew mkt's attention to Minerva being sign. under-valued...within 6 weeks of me selling SP was 125p, so i lost £180ks potential profit. Could VH MTRO strategy be similar i.e. inflate the SP by hook or crook?
