I don't bother with this site anymore. I am disillusioned with my former hero Gilby!
He has diluted the value of our shares repeatedly by offering discounts to a select few.
GET STUFFED SHAREHOLDERS has come across loud and clear!
I don't blame him for stuffing us on the OPTIONS at 4.4p when the price looked like it was headed for twice that figure. I expected him to attempt some sort of compensation for circumstances (Covid) letting us down , but he has not! Far from it!
Not only has he conducted repeated devaluations of the shareprice , but he has missed the opportunities that have been there for a new energy provider! I find it hard to believe that various bodies were not approachable with some urgency to finance us whilst energy prices and demand were extremely high!
Botswana must be screaming out for energy with the decline in South Africa's imports, and screaming at the price they are paying no doubt. With 40 years+ of gas in the ground, I'd expect them to support any requests to finance the escalation of drills, wells, sites and bigger tx lines.
And if the Govt is not interested then the BP and Shells of this world with windfall billions in the bank would be all ears I reckon? Orapa is crying out for gas , so why not open up Mamba and get a pipeline to Orapa underway. We have the same holes in the ground that we had years ago using the slowly slowly catcha monkey approach. That was sensible when prices were modest but the demand for energy is passing us by! All we'll find is monkey muck that was dropped months ago! It is pathetic! Instead of expanding in Hydrogen, Solar , and Crypto all we have is reduced gas flows while a few poles are erected. Meanwhile we are all getting considerably older and poorer! The share price should never have dropped from 5p+ , but TLOU reduced it to 3.5p with their discounts, and then to less than 2p with further discounts for Tony and his Cronies (sounds like a band). I cannot believe it is over 4 years since the missus died and TLOU are not much further on now than they were then and the many years before!
I have not sold any of my 2m+ shares - I have given up expecting to profit personally but maybe my boys will live long enough to see a return. We see substations have slipped into 2024. Is that because the poles and wires slipped? Or has the drilling slipped and delayed the need for poles and wires, and substations?
Good to see BTS and Olda have been able to afford the keeping of their shares.
The state of North Yorkshire Potash is hardly a consolation but the comparison with TLOU is amazing! If Gilby had the helm at Sirius they'd still be alive and moving the ball slowly with their feet. And if Chris Fraser (their CEO) was at TLOU , we'd have solar panels, substations and wires financing the Orapa pipeline and more wells at Lesedi.
Our green SOLAR would work during the day during sunlight , leaving coal and diesel power to other companies until Lesedi succeeds.
