Don't understand how the final trade was a buy @ 2p?

I think my sells @ 1.98p must have timed out at close on the dot at 16:30 and then an auction resolved that trade at 2p - hardly fair on the buyer?

I put the "valid for" days as today - perhaps if I said "Monday" I might have captured a few at 1.98p?

On Monday I might enter a few extra days - I accepted the default of 1 out of laziness - and try again, not necessarily at 1.98p .

I really envy MM - with hindsight I'd have followed him out - and use all the proceeds from that higher price to buy back in (subject to oversubscription wich would be a disaster).

Whilst we are all suffering dilution on our holdings , he has none! So he gets a rock bottom price, no dilution , and a shed load more shares than he sold.

I believe him to have had excess of 3m so there is a chance he would not get his quota - but Whizzer's entitlement will be a decent start, and there will be others for sure.

If the issue is a failure - we might be saying cheerio to further rights issues.

I guess TLOU are committed to paying brokers irrespective of whether the brokers bring home the bacon for them or not. I wonder if Minorminer will apply for some of the excess issue?

Thinking about it , gas is lighter than water so a decline rather than an incline will allow the gas to bubble up through the water at a higher pressure? I can see why horizontal is the chosen route and a parallel drain channel was considered.

Thinking about horizontal wells , there is the problem! We need #6 to be drilled vertically, and the sideways one should be inclined upwards so the water RUNS DOWN the channel. It won't be very steep unless the seams are thick enough. Sirius expected their seams to be 5m thick and when they drilled they were 22.5m thick. Whizzer size! How the hell did some of us loose money after that? The fleet of ships and harbour plus another channel tunnel to the port is the answer! What a pity potash cannot be deivered on the national grid!

I left it too late because I waited for IG to allow me online trading , and it was already available once I saw Winni's post which I found very helpful and not preaching!

I have completed my preparation at IG and have lined up LSE and ASX rights at 2p and 3.5c without having to trade on ASX which is more costly than on LSE! And I am getting 5000 more shares next month for £250 than I did last month for £300.

My other broker has been too slow for me to make a profit , but I am allowing for a tiny loss by selling @ 1.98p to buy back at 2p on the issue. If I don't have any takers then I'll forego the issue at that broker.

My IQ must have dropped - I have been watching Countdown forever and never noticed it is only 3 rounds. Not that it normally matters.

My next dorr beighbour appeared to tell me they are felling a tree on here boundary tomorrow, so I missed the 3rd round. He needed an 8 on the last letters game to be able to reach 154, and he went went for an 8! He guessed at a word and was nearly right, one letter was different in the spelling, and then the numbers game was impossible so only 7 points available to him. Which he got! Conundrum less than a second again though.

My other broker has used snail mail for both my accounts (2 letters) and I can reply by snail mail or email , to accept each.

Countdown today is absolutely fantastic!!!! They have completed 2 rounds of 4 , and then there is the final conundrum for another 10 points.

The record score on one day is 154 , and the 17 yr old is aiming for his 7th win.

154 is doomed because he has scored 104 already! He got 2 9-letter words on the first two rounds! Unbelievable!

Why can't TLOU get dynarod (Botswana) in to clear that water away?

Silt was the fear and the reason they pumped the wells slowly. A fast current was thought to be more likely to drag the silt along the channels and to form a blockage.

Water can be easily sucked out with a hose pipe , and what we have a deep drain , a fairly simple one? A vertical and a couple of horizontal channels off it. The good news is that that water needs clearing once and for all imho. Silt is a perpetual risk. I think what I am calling silt is called coal finings and they won't be released as easily by passing gas as much as flowing water? We used to have the odd engineer on here. My mental picture is clearly too simple.

How easy it it to retrace a channel with a flexible rubber pipe attached? Or can we put thirsty snakes, or other creatures , down there who'll need a drink?

If there is a single blockage ,another vertical drill could be the answer if the target is not too small to hit?

It makes not the slightest difference to Tlou which of us owns the existing shares , you , me or Winni? Nobody cares!

You have saved 0.02p for each share you chose to divert into your portfolio.

Remember to knock off the number of shares you'd have received from the commission you paid! £10 is 500 shares you passed up!

The new shares not only puts your cash into the business but you'd receive e.g. 500 extra shares if you paid £10 commission.

Whizzer is too thick to see that my half a million plus shares cost me nothing by transferring exactly the 4/11 of my holdings in several accounts ISA, Non ISA , ASX and LSE in two transactions. Cost me £6 (£3 for ISA and Non-ISA) BUT I AM GUARANTEED TO RECEIVE 4/11 SHARES AT 2p and 0.35p into my IG AUD and GBP portfolios saving me 4 x commissions.

I spend £250 - £500 per month over 3 trades each month to retain my frequent trader rate of £3 on LSE (and zero commission in the USA which I don't use) instead of £8 per trade.

This month I have wasted £6 by selling LSE shares. Next month I will receive into my ISA both ASX shares 4/11 , LSE shares 4/11 saving me £3 and $10AUD commission, and the same again in my nominee account. $20aud is around £11 , plus £6 has been saved on the placing plus £9 on my normal top ups £26 saved! I have requested an oversubscription of 20k which exceeds my my normal monthly total for £300 and I have only paid £250 in advance!!!

I am reticent to show my numbers but I found it difficult to visualise mentally and this makes it clear.

As you can see IG allow ASX shares to be included in a shares ISA so my GBP sells have sponsored my ASX purchases because IG will convert GBP to AUD for me!

IG tell me how much GBP I need to have in place - so they are handling FX for me.

I am dead chuffed , I have oversubscribed by 20k shares , have £30 contingency on my ASX account , and £15 contingency on LSE and my Frequent trader top-up was the minimum deposit by card of £250 so more shares than I usually get for my monthly £300.

I can forget about the placing and await my shares on 15th June from IG.

Bless you mate - I do not like the new platform they provided yonks back , so I always opt for the old platform which I am familiar with for fixed quotes each month. My portfolio showed my entitlements ok but showed the telephone call requirement.

Took me a while to locate "corporate actions" which used to be easy to find and both London and Sydney exchanges appear so my oversubscribed choices are in place - thank you. I have had confirmation on my LSE requests - so I might get the ASX ones later.

Beautifully easy process - no emails needed as I expected. Rounded up my over-subscriptions to total a number of thousands or tens of thousands. Now I have to check whether I need to fund my account and whether GBP is ok for Sydney (they'll do the FX to AUD) or whether I need to do the FX in advance.

You need not spend a penny to to help TLOU! It will cost you one commission charge per transaction to sell, but buying back will be free!

If your 4/11 is x in total! Sell x on the open market leaving you with 7/11 of your total.

Your account now has cash enough to take up your 4/11 placing count.

Take them and TLOU gets that money - your buyer funds your new shares for you!

You end up with 4/11 + 7/11 = 100% TLOU get that 4/11 cost instead of sfa from you! If you get a better price than 2p when you sell - you'll be in pocket almost for sure!

I am sure my other broker will be on the ball , as they have been in the past , so today's RNS will trigger online access to the offer. Usually a form is provided to be emailed by certain date.

Whizzer, you'd help the company by selling the number of shares you are entitled to, andtaking the offer as I have. You really go out of your way to hinder TLOU - we are getting close to revenues, the price of 2p is a bargain, the price is sure to surge one of these days, and you are still discouraging investors?

I know I am too optimistic about TLOU , but I suspect TG could have sold out to the Doc.

I doubt the Doc wanted TLOU with out TG's experience in CBM.

There is little news of dewatering #3 and #4 - so my rose coloured specs show me that plans for #6 is designed to not only dewater more effectively than the virgin wells , but will help #3 , #4 and maybe even #5 to dewater faster. There was talk of drilling a parallel channel a while ago. I'll be surprised if that has been abandoned! The Doc does not share your opinion of this project! Now which of you two will be best informed???

Could the doc be gagging the news so other entrepreneurs don't follow his lead whuch could push the price through the roof? The Pension fund are still invested - they could have milked the Doc with their holding. The evidence is there that things are better than you expect!

Once+, I cannot afford to buy my offer of over half a million shares unless I delve into my cash ISA account which I am reticent to do.

I have shares on ASX and LSE , so I sold ASX+LSE totals on my nominee and ISA accounts.

As you can see I made the slightest profit on the smaller one and broke even on the higher one.

I will now buy them all back and ask for a few more shares next month, commission free from the placing , and I'll keep my frequent trader status in June with 2 x LSE + 1 x ASX trade.

Why such a convoluted exercise? Well,

#1 I have brought new buyers money in , and given that money back to TLOU to help them!

#2 The share issue will not be under-subscribed by my half million shares as it would otherwise.

#3 If we are oversubscribed it will help confidence in the company , and leave the Doc with more cash to invest at a later stage from his under-writing pot.

I wish I acted a bit quicker when the price was a bit higher perhaps?

It might drop below 2p in which case it make sense to buy on the open market instead of partaking in the offer. IG fixed price quote works well for me - I know what I am paying or receiving unlike limit bids.

I wonder if I keep my frequent trader status if I subscribe to ASX , LSE (nominee and ISA) accounts? I need 3 transactions but placings are free to shareholders - hence the huge cost to TLOU of a third of a million. Off to see Cherries play Man Utd .... when I used to stand to one side of the leaks in the roof and pee against a black paint wall in the open air who have dreamed we'd be in the PL with West Ham, Everton , Leeds , Leicester , Notts Forest and Southampton all looking themselves at us? Safe with 4 games to play .... if only TLOU followed suit and made 2023 a special year for us all.
