If I referred to Bots abilities ages 1. month to 2 years and listed all tge thinks he could not do - take the bins out , go to the shops fir his mum abd get a loaf of bread , never washes his dad’s car etc etc I’d clearly be accused of being daft!

So why does he keep referencing the last 3 to 5 years which were a no go period for so many companies. Established companies with incomes had a chance of continuing with proven practices or we’d have all starved to desah. But little startups with travel lockdowns, little capital , and a need to stall production lines to avoid going bankrupt which cost money too - did well to survive at all.

Tlou need to decide on the generstors that suit us best before we can connect live wires. A few small ones , one big one , and will we be delivering electricity to Serowe - OR SHARING GAS BETWEEN CBM power for BPC plus supplying fuel to a Data centre? That leaves less gas and smaller generators inntge short term? And long term it could change dramatically. Which route is most profitsble?

If TG is conning us into thinking he is seriously thinking of going live with Lesedi then , as I have nearly always thought, he is doing a fantastic job.

Just had another look at IG and realised what an idiot I was yesterday.

Sharedealing account is clearly all exchanges and LSE charges ,mean £90 is lowest trade and ASX commission is $10 minimum!!

Buying on ASX therefore cost $10 min as it is always did!

I did a dummy buy on ASX from my ISA and commission showed as $0 so the advice to new IG customers is to ensure you fund your ISA when you can, and buy into the ISA. AND IF YOU FUND OR HAVE FUNDS IN SHAREDEALING then click ADD FUNDS and use TRANSFER FUNDS to move the money to your ISA which is free of charge. Good advice for any ASX share. Aussie bank rate dropped yesterday so CBA dropped from $162+ to $159+ but TLOU bid price is 1.7c up from 1.6c yesterday. Mine are held in paper form somewhere along with Rolls Royce , both given to me in sales promotions, both profitable as a consequence - so silly that everything I have bought is worth sfa until TG proves the cynics wrong. He can draw his state pension at 67 yrs (both men and women) though there is no retirement age in OZ for either.

Don't understand it? I am sure there was no commission last time I bought but tonight I deposited £50 , the minimum deposit by car, and went to buy £50 worth, just for the hell of it. Came back with minimum trade is £90!

So I added another £50 and traded £100 , expecting no commission again.

Last time I was more cautious and bought in my ISA , this time I funded my sharedealing account twice, and bought into that account at 1.6c

Now I am left wondering whether I was charged $10 commission because it is my sharedealing account , or whether something strange waived it in my ISA last time?? TLOU must be true love because nothing seems to run smooth anymore?

Thank you HB , I change Adblocker plus yesterday and adverts are flying all over the place since! I have installed "Loack Adblock" and opted to run the next step up from Basic , whatever that was! And all the ads have gone! That is with Firefox! That irritating video of a woman that adblocker Plus permitted has even gone!

Imho , as you deserve an answer Bob, a definite YES and and a definite NO

There seems to be 3 outcomes depending upon whether you AIM shares are with a broker who permits ASX shares or not.

1. Yes he does - and you do nothing! The consensus of opinion seems to be we'll be OK.

2. No he doesn't and you do nothing - you seem destined to get a paper share certificate - so wait for TLOU advice (which may save you paying) or deposit them in an ASX friendly broker. This is scary - afaics , IG charge £100 per certificate - cannot see TLOU refunding that amount or, indeed , losses if you do what I did. I sold AIM from X-O and bought back AIM with ASX friendly IG.

I lost £78 doing that, but I avoided paper shares (which could cost me £100?).

TLOU are still expecting to deliver some MW to Serowe this year but are presumably are investigating a possible agreement with a Data Centre to raise a quicker revenue stream from Lesedi #4.

BPC are reported to be content with this , and #6 is devoted to CBM power whatever goes down with #4. That is my opinion only and the village idiot will disagree because he is the village idiot! No proof but logically it is hard to envisage anything else. So the PPA will go ahead with #6 or both #4 and #6 depending of the Data Centre. If it is a lucrative agreement fund raising to complete the power production and commissioning of tx system will benefit us enormously. So many delays result from fund raising problems , and TG always wanted his project to be self-financing as much as possible , for obvious reasons.

I like the way PQ works - you can produce a number of tables , using the previous as the source for the next one, and if you delete a step it is clever enough to remove the intermediate table and leap over it. Get it right and you have it forever - very powerful and ideal for a failing memory!

There are two types of investors in this world

1. Those that expect a steady incline in share price, no matter how high they buy in, tunnel vision on the UP , and tunnel vision on the DOWN when it does not materialise. Posts are green!

2. Realists, they appreciate prices fluctuate, work does not alway go to plan, and the economy, especially for start ups, can be a roller coaster. Posts are black and white.

TLOU supporters are so nervous , against all reason , that TG has gone from a 2 out 2 CBM success without pandemics , and his hat trick has had the biggest one I can remember, followed by lockdowns whilst a vaccination was discovered that worked, and the economic turmoil that followed due to furlongs and other liabilities to stop big businesses going under.

Mitigating circumstances for start ups if ever there was any! Tlou have some money in the bank - quite a feat imho - and , albeit behind schedule by up to a year, progress is very slow but very sure!

The ball will soon be on the penalty spot and then the hat-trick will follow. VAR is looking to see if the Data Centre is onside which could change the priorities somewhat. Our main coach is waiting for VAR with fingers crossed.

As for the delay in finishing off the substations after installing and commissioning generators , we definitely KNOW TG is frugal!

So consider what his decision on these options would be!

1. Go hell for leather to buy the kit, by borrowing money , increasing debt, and being liable for paying interest on it.

2. Conclude a potential agreement with an unknown Data centre entrepreneur for housing a number of rigs near Lesedi #4 using petty cash to provide them with gas. The earnings from that business might be enough to finance the generators for #6 and the BPC PPA so no dilution or debt needed?

3. In my dream land the Data Centre money plus #6 work could be enough to clear the convertible loans of 12.5m and stop any dilution of 1.26bn shares. What a coup that would be?

And how long will it take for the Data Centre agreement to be finalised?

TG will know how long he can allow before fund raising from shareholders is essential. I suspect the recent tardiness is biting into that time period already but it is worth a shot. Will it be Crypto mining or the start of a major AI facility or could it be aimed at both?

It is not definitely the Dr behind this - but at risk of being told I am saying it is (heaven forbid) , it would not surprise me if it is. Or as synic suggested it could be even bigger names though Musk might be reticent to upset Trump's dream of making America great within 4 whole years.

I see what you mean Winni, are the rules merely applicable to ASX shares so Bots and LSE shares are if no interest to ASX rulings.

When Tlou issued options, on a one option for every 6th share already owned basis, did our personal allocations come from TLOU or from our brokers?

ie Tlou allocate 16.67% of a brokers 'holding' as the maximum for that broker, and let the broker deal with us? Or would TLOU have instructed the broker how many each of us had paid for?

We just have to trust TG knows what he is doing - easy for me - not so for our more cynical shareholders. But is Colm handling LSE ,and GG the Botswana side? Not so sure of those two if TG is busy elsewhere.

It is a bit mysterious Winni, I found this which might explain the situation with similarities in ASX and AIM , but also differences including our CREST system.

Clear as mud to me. I was lost with "if they (shareholders) choose not to take action" without reference to what action they might take. Ask for certificates I suppose. So no certificates except where there is? Being Australian , TLOU have to keep a register so why can't TLOU take charge?

Perhaps they intended to and fell foul of Crest which is what you suggest Winni?

Has anyone had such a letter "outlining details of their shares and how to access and trade them" ? H&L customers are of interest because H&L appear in the list of leading shareholders, so is that because H&L complied with TLOU's expectations. I am pleased I sold my X-O shares and bought them back on IG - I wish now that I had bought on ASX and not AIM which is in limbo with millions of LSE shares.

Does TLOU even know there is a problem? And more worryingly does IG who simply blether on about Custodians and whether they will charges fees for doing SFA!

The village clown has detracted from this issue and has become the main topic (probably his intention to get stimulation while self flagellating in the corner of his squat).

Good news at last. Just looked at my orders on IG and eventually that £248 order was listed with a cancel option. Cancelled and the full £250 is back to do whatever I want with it.

However my History is totally blank so there is no sign of yesterdays timing out and being cancelled , or next weeks limit bid that was definitely accepted , being cancelled manually par moi.

I suspect IG has several new customers who are in limbo waiting for their ASX shares to be delivered. Hope this helped one of you.

Why did your modest IQ not save millions of lost lives worldwide from Covid?

You ignore the pandemic as if it did not exist - 4 years and counting of lockdowns and illness and deaths! Without the pandemic TLOU would be operational and expanding by now - and you don't see it do you? Sekaname are still dreaming after 4 or 5 years but you think they are superior! that is eerie!

Unbelieveable! Yesterday I was using the Iphone and typed a post that suddenly evaporated never to be seen again. I retyped it from memory but sp of 1.6c and Sphincter's erroneous 1.6 bn issue clouded my numbers a bit.

I sent it before the Iphone lost that one as well.

I was horrified to read it and see an elementary maths error. 1.6bn less 1.26bn is not 4.4m , so I expected Sphincter to enjoy ridiculing me and filtered him.

Saw the 3 posts so I viewed his response and he had not noticed!

I funded my ISA yesterday while ASX was closed. £250 and by trial and error put in a limit bid to buy £249.50 worth of TOU at 1.6c.

ASX works on dollars and spread was 0.016 to 0.017

I wanted to offer 0.0165 but IG only allow 3 decimal places to be entered!

30k+ shares totalled £249.99 and they accepted my bid!!!

Today there is no record of that transaction at all - price closed at 1.7c up 6%+ and Mcap over $22m AUD - I do miss LSE fixed price quotes where there is no uncertainty. Interesting that the deal showed 0 commission and 0.5% fx charges so 50p covered the trade - not too bad at all. Good in fact!!! £2.50 more shares than LSE fixed price equivalent of old.

Got order accepted at 1.7c but no sign of it anywhere!

Repeated the exercise with £250 funds showing and it failed with insufficient funds!!!! So no order showing to cancel but £248+ is reserved for the invisible order that I cannot cancel and £1.26 (familiar number?) available to trade!!!!
