His podcast was virtually as good as an RNS given he is never prone to exaggeration and is 'happy' to tell us the downsides when they are possible.

His diplomacy even stretched to his neutral view of Sekaname's progress and wishing them luck sounded great.

Does it cost a lot more to put up a 20Mw than a 10Mw distribution system? I guess it is more than just using thicker cables? He did say or more which sounded like marginally more (like 25Mw or so).

I wonder is some ofthem are the same investor buying and selling his own shares to himself! He'd go broke on commission charges if it that happened? In computer parlance it is the opposite of 'deadly embrace' which I suppose could be called 'lively embrace'.

Faced with choice of an ever increasing population and problems in feeding them all, potash is clearly in a 'growing' market. Having enough for over a hundred years looks quite a bonus for a new company looking to the future..

Oil products are blamed for many of the problems of the world. Plastic , petrol and diesel are all closely linked with pollution over land and sea as are other fossil fuels.
All the talk is of electric and hybrid vehicles coming in with diesels being phased out soon, and petrol engines soon to follow no doubt. Looking for more fossil fuels is 'old' hat so investing in that is not as appealing for some.

I look forward to potash feeding an elecricity plant - an edible one would solve both markets - whether it is verging on redundant or is expansive. I could grow one of these new plants in my side car maybe.

The two industries are already being compared by a bank in Norway which some of us may have heard of?
My money is on them getting it right!

Great post Verde but starts off a little iffy.
Rio Tinto drilled hundreds of times in the 1960's looking for oil but recorded their findings!
There was potash everywhere! So it wasn't lucky that is was still there.
What was lucky was our confirnation drilling did not find Rio Tinto's 5m seams but 22.5m seams.
Rio were not interested in the potash because at $50 per tonne in the 60's it wasn't viable.
Our ceo was looking at prices over $800 per tonne in the following century and has been interested ever since.
It was the 22.5m realisation that selected Whitby over the other two despite being the most difficult to obtain planning permission and don't we just know it!

Looks like a hornets nest - New World was not into oil and gas and became a laundry (money) called Eridge in Jersey and looks like something to be totally disassociated from. The story is so complicated it will take until 28th to unravel it all (if the information exists at all). Cannot remember how I was attracted but probably came from Tom Bulford at red-hot penny shares many years ago.
