Our problem is budgetting that 117M for long enough to get some backing.

I guess I am almost 100% filtered because there was no response when I argued that we are the total opposite of tC and their ilk.
Bailing out companies that are very likely to have the same difficulties again is not us!

Reformatted it - there is a danger that the rows and columns are relevant to Lesedi * Mamba ** and Boomslang *** where * indicates which row each item originated from.
I am fairly sure they had difficulty fitting it into the RNS and the rows are not too significant- I empathise with them!

They gained all the permissions needed to become an electricity generator and distributor (if every pylon has been agreed by now, with up to 300 sites some may need to be agreed , I dunno) and they are on the threshold of agreeing a deal with Botswana as soon as it is confirmed that the gas flow is strong enough at Lesedi.
They are confident enough in Lesedi with just 2 production pods to start work at Mamba any day now with equipment that would be needed at Lesedi if the flows fall short!
Lesedi is taking a while because there is more water than anticipated which is considered to be good news for eventual gas flows. From February to September seems much longer than it really is to turn this company from explorer to being on the verge of becoming a producer in a country whose bureaucrats are so laid back they are as lateral as our wells.

What would you do to speed things up Whizzer?

Companies that run into trouble and need bailing out and are becoming more plentiful month on month.
Their future is likely to be repeats until they die.

Sirius however is in nothing like that position - it has an assured future of a 100 years but needs help getting to the starting line. The Govt can guarantee loans at no cost if they succeed and they won't be setting a precedent for companies in the other dependency group!
Investing in the future and not saving the past at hopefully no cost to the nation, from where I am (in bed) looks a simple decision! But nowadays nothing is simple to the shambles in Westminster (if they are not at home, in bed, like me).

Last 25 minutes on ASX saw no deals all night and then a solid string of sells - no doubting that they were sells @ 9.1c which is now the closing price. Think I'll get in touch with Thomas Cook and book a last minute holiday - at least it will take my mind off TLOU. 8 of 14 trades were all for 12673 shares? All at different times , albeit a few seconds in places, anybody got an idea why? Such a weird number! 13 second gaps a couple of times suggest they are computer trades?

Jacko Citigroup did not really own them - they lost their right to dividends for starters, and the rights to vote using those shares, hence the RNS. It reads like they expect to make big decisions soon and want a bigger say in where we go.
Sounds good if there is a choice coming up .... hope the options are going to be attractive or beautiful .... a good wife swapping party perhaps?

That was my take on it too.
Does it mean that Citigroup demanded they be returned and as a consequence their voting rights increased?
The short seller merely stays in the same position but is indebted to different company who will replace Citigroup I guess?
Is it one transaction or two? The unknown source could transfer its loan direct to Citigroup on the shorters behalf, or to the shorter who then clears Citigroups deficit with those shares? Bloody stupid idea this short selling - should never be allowed imho. Bit like a swinger borrowing someone's wife to go to a wife swap?
