The first generator is partly going to be used as a training exercise for future generator implementations, and 1Mw or 2Mw is probably immaterial? 1Mw is a small jigsaw piece, 2Mw is twice the size - finishing the jigsaw is equally easy whichever.

We only have 11 days to the AGM , surely you can wait 11 days? They are obliged to report on #3 and #4 flows come what may, imho. So why frighten potential investors off buying at these silly prices?

contained the biggest statement ever in TLOU's history but DONK did not think it was worth mentioning.
His tone was that the presentation reflected upon Botswanan ineptitude and explained why they had not issued contracts yet! Further doubt that he had listened to the speech because it is crystal clear why they have not!

For the special needs character, Donk , I will say it slowly! But only one.

Officers at the ministry have cast doubts about Tlou and Sekanane having adequate gas to provide power.
Both companies claim they will have enough.
The contracts are dependent upon BOTH companies proving that! i.e. Commercial gas flow.
TLOU await commercial gas flow before getting down to business.
Once proven, Botswana will promote CBM powered electricity to #1 and support the concept immediately and that was a PROMISE!

I have had enough of the troll ....it is so effing obvious whare the hold up is! That took quite an effort but at least I won't need to listen to it again. I think TG understood it fully and has not stopped smiling since. Now why is that? I think he has the final piece of the jigsaw in his hand. He just needs to spin it into the right direction.

Para 2 has very disappointing results after a year, but how clever are TLOU to hiss gas in #3 and #4 whilst Broadmeadow took #8 and #98 to get poor results? Hope we don't follow suit.

1. The Bowen basin (Fig. 7) has long been recognized as a potential CBM giant with an estimated resource base of at least 178 Tscf.[39] As far back as 1976, wells were drilled adjacent to existing mines to produce coal gas. In 1987, an eight-well pilot was initiated in the Broadmeadow gas field of the Northern Bowen basin, resulting in low-rate gas production.[40] This was followed by more than 120 production wells and core holes over the next 10 years in an attempt to establish commercial production. This goal was achieved in February of 1998 with the first sale of gas from the Comet Ridge field. A second field, the Scotia field, began selling gas in 2002.

2. In the Broadmeadow pilot project, Well 3 peaked at 98 Mscf/D and Well 8 peaked at 50 Mscf/D within one year of their completion. Although formation damage and production problems may have contributed to these low rates, it is doubtful that commercial gas rates could ever be attained given the consistently low permeabilities of less than 1.5 md measured in four wells.

In contrast, the Comet Ridge CBM project attained commercial status in 1998.

3. imho conclusion.
Peak or commercial rates might be a year rather than weeks or months.
The problems may not be encountered at Lesedi.
Our flows are strongly expected to beat 98 mcfd with only 2 wells. (4 at least @ Broadwindsor).
Drill moving to Mamba soon supports that expectation.

My faith in Tony is still complete, but there might be more chance of his making a mistake than I thought.
He hasn't dismissed the risks and his experience includes the problems to avoid at previous projects.
I still trust in his judgement and his honesty tbh. But I can at least see where Donk is coming from now.

Warrior sounded familiar, so I searched for it on this chatroom.

Lesedi #4 is a month later but matched flow rates from #3 in the last news. I expect #4 to be considerably higher by the AGM, and #3 too.

One of the key producing properties in the Black Warrior basin is the Cedar Cove field (Fig. 6.6). It contains 517 producing wells and produces approximately 20% of the total coal gas from the basin.[79] The average well in this field is drilled on an 80-acre spacing and reaches a peak gas rate of 150 Mscf/D in 600 days. The well remains at this rate for approximately 4.5 years before declining. Approximately one-third of the wells peak at less than 100 Mscf/D, one-third peak in the 100 to 300 Mscf/D range, and the other one-third peak at more than 300 Mscf/D. Projected average gas reserves are 820 MMscf per well over a 30-year project life.

The profile of CBM production vs. time differs dramatically from conventional

production increases (negative decline) initially while water is being removed,

production profile of Well OG-134 of the Oak Grove field in the Warrior basin.
Note that about 11 months was required for dewatering and gas desorption near
the wellbore to establish peak gas production, plus another 7 months to begin a

Above is from Halliburton reservoir analysis for CBM, it may take longer to dewater so maybe no news before agm which is fair enough as long as news/production rates are good.

Taken me ages to copy this from a PDF file. They attach importance to measuring the precise amount of water.
I guess that tells then the volume of cavities and fissures for comparison with other pods? We just say there was more than expected and it has reduced to desorption levels, good enough for me.

Sorry folks I try to ignore the plonker but he is frequenting this board because we are so boring he uses us for his inspiration to write about over there. WAC he is! Really Wacky.

Tortuous time for investors - I am just so pleased that it is only me that I am bankrupting! I am sticking with my original spread of stocks, TLOU is main hope because it could restore my portfolio on its own!
T'others cost a lot of money for few shares apart from SXX where my major buys were in single figures. Still down 44% mind.

Speedway tonight, but it has started raining. Hope it is going to be OK. Is postponed from earlier in the week.

Cheers Swan, but I deliberately don't forecast numerical flows. Far from it, I haven't a clue about gas flows except our two wells look extremely promising - lots of water equates to lots of capacity for the gas to be released into. And we have lots of water.

TG has said 1Mw will be a success, he expects 2Mw and hopes for more from #3 and #4.
His grounded views and the Botswanan ministers speech fill me with confidence as does the extra water in the wells.
But If I have quoted expected flow by number I did not mean to, and I don't think I have.

Tony is hopeful the gas will flow adequately, the minister promised to throw everything behind CBM IMMEDIATELY if it is proven.
My optimism stops there - and I am extremely happy so far! No false expectations, I know that just because Tony has succeeded in the past is not a guarantee this time. Our flows may break the established pattern but that Victor Meldrew catch phrase comes to mind again. I am also trying to cheer up BTS and others like him. I won't be selling anytime soon.

No wonder the 4968 did not disappear on the deal tickets!

My junior team members used to learn so much from me in IT - lots of senior programmers keep their knowledge to themselves thinking knowledge is power! I preferred my team members to not make the mistakes I made in their position.

Those that complain probably don't want to learn , and their posts usually prove they are successful at that.

Is it just me that is amazed at so many listings? How can they all keep the price synchronised?
I opened my IG account thinking I could conceivably take advantage of GBP/AUD fluctuations but add in EUR and BWP and the mind boggles!
4.85p is currently 0.66 Pula 0.055 euros or 0.089 aussie dollars.

Snapped those up over half an hour ago - but they still show as available.
Raised my bid to 9c and filled the rest of my order immediately.
The deal ticket showed 8.7c to 9.1c throughout.
I bet my buy shows as a sell , but ADVFN trades still don't show either half of the deal!
