Jarvis sent me two letters - identical but for the account numbers. So my ISA is still intact with their authority.

I think so HITS, Jenkins appear to hold no shares and just act like a dating agency.
They must be responsible for keeping the register of who owns what, to confirm brokers etc have the numbers they claim to have on account.
I am pleased I stayed put , Jenkins look good - providing the guide price and not charging investors or brokers for matches.

Got United on TV after appalling continental crowd noise at other games which was irrelevant to play!
Can't believe the rubbish coming from Old Trafford as well - "you are my sunshine" and other songs which have nought to do with play either! I prefer the crowds whistling when the visitors have possession., mindless but not brainless.

However my ISA count is 10 times the number of shares in my nominee!

Thanks guys, it was the post that said a broker had SOLD his shares that has made me quizzical.
I am fairly sure that poster now has zero shares with his broker - unless he did not have his reading glasses on!
He may have seen price and value both zero and missed the fact his shares were all present and correct?
Does not explain why he thought they were sold unless the value made him think that.

If HITS post is accurate, I guess my broker's deals with JP Jenkins will be treated as normal buys and sells at their usual commission rate? Sounds ok from both their and my point of view. I have just lost a bit of control over AVN deals. e.g. Dummy buys or sells are a thing of the past.

If my understanding is right, it sounds better than being on AIM.
Day trading looks like a pain in the butt so we might end up with genuine investors and a bit of stability.

Cannot see what is in it for JPJ though - so there must be additional fees via our brokers for these deals?
I won't find out until the sp reaches the £23 promised by the pundits pre Hylas #1 :O)

I hope JPJ do get in touch even if it is only to inform us how to view whatever price guide they use.
They might be £23 already for all I know :O)

Oh dear! I thought the subject line contained someone's expectation of the sp at today's close :O)

I could understand dating today either side of the midnight hour , but not at 10am. Unless he is on VPN like I was last week. At 3pm I was watching the 10am race at Doncaster because I was theoretically in American to enable my reading of a Bloomberg report :O) Good old Betfair! Too clever by half!

My X-O shares in AVN are still showing but with a SP of 0 and the Epic AVN.L shows as non-existent for research or trading.
All as expected.

What has surprised me is my transaction history is blank for AVN since my last trade - I'd expected a SELL or a TRANSFER OUT to Jenkins, and something from Jenkins to say they'd received them.

Has anybody had any correspondence from JPJ?

This week has shown how good ADVFN is when there is an abundance of posts.
They set the focus at the post you left off last time, they are also numbered. You can read or skip forward or goto a message number.
LSE either need a cookie to save where you were at your last viewing and put you on the relevant post to read upwards?
Finding the right page , far less the right message , on here is too difficult.

Normally setting posts per page to 100 is enough - but this week that could only be much less than the previous hour.

Closed 9.1c - 9.8c quite a wide spread.
Turned off my night light display and the black redaction indicator is actually blue!
So they are doubting the buy by 20% - it absolutely stinks imho!

9.3c - 9.8c spread and trade is 9.8c? What fool doubts that is a buy??????

Same old story on advfn trades page.
Spread was 9.1c - 9.7c - the 9.1c was taken and spread happily moved to 9.7c - 9.8c
Transactions at 9.7c are shown as 100% sells - no way!
I reckon they could have been buys because sp changed to a spread of 9.3c - 9.8c

And then the biggest deal of the night at 9.8c , the full price receives a buy rating?
Don't know what a 80% black block signifies , but it looks negative.... the advfn trades screen is the best I have found but for their appraisals!
No wonder the posters over there are so negative. It adds £1200 to my losses on IG until the market closes!

I bought @ £3.31 and £3.40 - and thought I was clever when I got £3.95 after only 5 weeks (Nov 2009).

How many of us are old timers with equity release a possibility on their mortgage free homes?
A few will be accountants - so instead of leaving our homes in our wills , is there a tax efficient way to buy bonds in a deserving company and leave them instead?
Could this be a well-known way out for Sirius? We all know "where there is a will there is way " :O)

Inheritance would be far less traumatic than having to empty the house and all the hastle of putting it on the market etc..
It might be a considerate option?

I have 3 shares in mine, spreading the risk , ha ha.

The first down 99.65%, Sirius down 79.01% , and my most successful one , down 34.62% - average 73.97% down.

It was a sorry day that they allowed AIM shares into ISA's - but I thought it was brilliant at the time!

Sirius has been an education! I set out in a flat race, planning permission introduced hurdles, and then it became a steeplechase! Thought we were over Bechers second time round and financing introduced a show ring with a Puissance wall in it! The highest wall a horse jumped in the Puissance is 2.4m? Slightly less than 2,500m

I have been pondering on how JPM are thinking - never really understood their stance.
It seems clearer now. They would back advances of 2.5Bn in tranches, but always reserved the right to use other banks.
I suppose that other banks might be happier dealing with JPM than a start-up, or is that ab upstart, in Yorkshire!

Did JPM worry if their support was really there? Challenging us to provide the first 500m tranche would be reassuring that they could do the same in the future? So after yesterday's news I really wonder if JPM's offer is still on the table? Reassurance is the last word that comes to mind.

Be fair Nige - we don't have a government anymore and the three candidates we are expected to vote for at the next election aren't fit for purpose! Talking the main parties! Confidence in the UK simple has to be rock bottom everywhere you look!
And that is the background that Sirius has to arrange 3Bn of finances under!

What would make me lmfao is for Junker and company to offer Sirius the financial security that was lost when Theresa was forced out! And we could use Australian banks instead of the Yanks! It would be a right kick in the teeth for the special alliance of the blonde mop heads think they have! And they are better than the new liberal leader!

The next govt looks certain imho to feature Nigel Farage, either as the main party or a close second .... I hope!
