RE: .30 Dec 2019 00:03
Well said Chukkers.
For those of you who may have seen Chukkers post challenged elsewhere- the challenger has never accepted that the PPA relies on having ome fugures to base the agreement on.
Everyone concerned is waiting to see how well the gas flows once dewatering in complete.
How well it it flows depends a bit on how fast they dewater. Too fast and they could block the channels with coal finings (dust and upwards) , too slow and we have those amongst us who get impatient.
It is fact that the more water that flows the greater the chance that the gas flows will be greater.
The amount of CBM seems very likely enough to support 2MW. I have little doubt that could be the basis for an agreement now. Botswana, and no doubt, TLOU , are hoping we can provide much more within a reasonable timetable. The number that is bandied about is 20Mw - 10 times the supply will obviously make a huge difference to the price we can offer.
The outlay for transmission lines for a mere 2MW will be horrendous - not so bad for 20Mw!
Production wells ere started in Spring , flowing , albeit slowly by summer, and I believe TLOU when they say are improving since without getting to their peak yet.
To that potential investor .... GLR ... please read the latest RNS which describes tha above.
From memory the water pump will have reached a sensible dewatering rate if it can be consistently run at 100 rpm or less.
Strating off at 3#over 300 rpm is is now fluctuating (the finings issue and amount of water being released) between 100 rpm and 200 rpm.
If you believe TLOU the future looks rosy. If you don't you post elsewhere.
This intervie gives you a very good potted industry of the CBM history and imho it is compelling.
The benefits of Botswanan prices, the decision to be there rather than elsewhere, TG's history , and a chance to decide if he likely to be honest or talking about pigs in blankets (telling porkies). i.e. the criticisms you can read elsewhere!
There is a subsequent podcast with later news provided by the finance director, Colm Cloonan which might interest you if you haven't seen it.
