We look to be following the heard mentality with 85% of our adults vaccinated, a luxury Botswana and Australia don't have? As usual , it is out of TLOU hands , and Hydrogen looks more likely to stop the stalemate than CBM. And that is in Synergen hands mainly, depending upon whether we need to install an electricity generator and a home for it.

On the strength of the TLOU related post from Moagi , I think I might top up next month to maintain my frequent trader status.

It must be a subliminal suggestion, but it must be there because he is the self-appointed guru of all things Botswana on here. Perhaps they did not have a phone charger at the church or the vicar would not allow him to use it.

TB's post suggests that the PPA is at the stage in a marriage ceremony where the vicar has completed the preliminaries and has asked if anybody knows good reason why they should not be married. The rest is now straightforward and the key points left are for the couple to say "I will" and for the register to be signed and witnessed.

At most weddings that is taken for granted, but the Botswana Govt might be the exception, and disappear on a bus on her wedding dress alongside The Graduate , Dustin Hoffman.

With the Govt (UK) looking to claw back the money they have spent wisely or wasted completely on Covid, there is certainly an incentive to put your shares into an ISA if you believe they 'll be sacrosanct.

I do recall MM and yours truly saying that they would end up with all 100MW because we doubted Sekaname was going to succeed any time soon!

I know my stance was that Sekaname's 90Mw+ offer would not be withdrawn, and that BG would increase the target to 200Mw , and would be delighted to get it all.

Explain why a PPA for 2MW has done little or nothing for the share price!

It is as plain as day , CBM relies totally on gas flows improving. That has been true since day 1.
It is even plainer that for whatever reason it ain't happening yet!

Compare that with the prospects for Hydrogen!!!
I think we are as likely to raise funds for the gas to power Synergen's gear commercially as we are for CBM power! TG is spoilt for choice which route he follows once gas flows accelerate as expected once the dewatering completes.

What is obvious , is that there is a limitation on how much electricity we'll be able to send to Serowe down our 66Kv cables! Synergen will be able to use all the gas or electricity or both (whichever they need, as discussed earlier) with no transmission problems whatsoever.

I think a lot of my work colleagues would laugh at you calling me a sheep!
I was classed as a maverick in my younger days. e.g. the PH.D's at the Home Office openly said that generating Police Duty States from their personnel files was impossible!

I was mislead by the Superintendent , Western Division , (Dorchester) who explained the 4 week rota which was a doddle!!!! My manager backed my confidence and it was adopted and worked, despite H.O. advice!

I supplied the Duty States (shift patterns, rest days, additional rest days, holidays, early, lates, night etc) for Eastern Division (Bournemouth, Poole and Xch) and they said wtf is that, it is all wrong!

Only Western Division used 4-week rotas, Eastern used a 5-week rota! The Super worked in the Western division and devised the rota I think?

Luckily there was a simplish formula for the 5-week route , so it was a great time saver!

And then I learned that dog patrols did not work any sort of rota , on call perhaps , and Lyme Regis amongst other stations , were exceptions as well! Dorset was one of the smaller forces so I guess bigger forces may have been impossible in those days (1970's).

I assumed we needed to generate electricity from the gas flare , hence some sort of housing for a generator (similar to the one at Selemo) and the generator itself needed some work!!!!

This sentence supports my view , but if you are right , and Synergen only needs our gas , and maybe a little electricity , then maybe Selemo is producing enough electricity for Synergen?

We need gas to flow , and to get gas to flow we don't need Covid lockdown , simples!
The exception is Hydrogen, the flared gas is enough for Synergen, and they are working towards early 2022 to be ble to use it in Botswana. If they don't have problems delivering on time (Covid) then hopefully we will not have a problem putting a generator (a la Selemo) in place.

The poles and wires contracts were announced in April 2021 , hard to believe only 5 months ago - you make it feel like years! Synergen, Tlou and possibly the our two contract companies may be four companies in Harmony!

The day all 4 are allowed to function 100% is the day your PPA becomes valuable.

But, Beyonce, a big butt, if Syn and Tlou can meet their schedule in the wilderness of Lesedi (more likely than going through populated areas with poles and wires?) then funding for Hydrogen may be available from all sorts of places, rendering your PPA funding less important, as it now, imho!

Who wants loans before they need the money to pay for the goods?

I am looking for the podcast where TG spoke about his reasons for Botswana rather than take issue with Moagi's twisted version! TG was balancing up red tape, prices , costs , government security, and the amount of gas and Botswana was his choice.

A price rise needs new blood to invest here so I try to present a better picture for them. One ofthe reasons we are collectively despondent at lack of progress is the exact opposite of your sarcastic twadle.

Selemo was dewatered within a single quarter , it is a fact that virgin sites can take months or even years to get the first dewatering complete.
Why should Lesedi be at the other extreme? TG , like most thinking shareholders, expected us to seeing commercial gas flows several years ago. All of us are disappointed that did not happen but nobody is o blame, it is a simple fact of life, there is more water around the Lesedi pods than at Selemo.

An then , having been delayed , TG had the rug pulled from beneath his feet, by Covid! Another couple of years in which Tlou could easily have gone bust! I reckon TG did brilliantly to keep us alive andkicking with only one member of staff dying from Covid , and enough money in the bank for 3.5 years a year ago, before ASX queried our viability again.

Spending that money to force another placing toraise raise the lost cash makes little sense until we can start earning a crust!

A PPA is not going to make Covid disappear or evaporate all the water at Lesedi - am I the only poster that can see that?

The Hydrogen experiment which looks very likely to be completed well within a year. We have the gas that is flaring, Syn areproducing sime kit in Australia and have done it before! We await delivery of that kit to Botswana and a wedding day for Lesedi flare gas and that kit. The rising of the Phoenix part two? It is you that doesn't get any of this! Dream on, as MM and co are doing until the water and Covid problems are history.
