I really like today's vote of confidence in TLOU and it's leadership - it dispels any worries that I had that the mood had changed about how clean CBM was - with Solar and nuclear gaining support around the world - and Botswana giving mixed messages about the future of coal which should be over in it's solid form.

Absolutely right, Moagi , accurate for TLOU who did that back in 2015/2016 for up to 2Mw (not 10Mw) with Selemo gas, 10Mw is a production target using proven wires and poles , Sekaname never wanted to prove the concept first , they wanted a huge honey-pot immediately and the silly bees presumably did not come forward in enough numbers with big enough numbers - as expected!

The bees looked at TLOU whose CEO has produced electricity from CBM twice and was targetting up to 10MW , against first timers targetting 10 times that!

Good news on this front - my password file and links pages have been resurrected by Firefox , and my desktop icons are back on the desktop display. But , apart from progress in Botswana, the best news is my laptop seems to be running much better than before.

TG has learned that timings are so unpredictable in Botswana. I expect him to exaggerate how long he expects anything to happen to delay when criticism begins.

He does not know when dewatering is likely to completed and everything CBM powerwise has that on the critical path.
He does not know for certain that breaching the water divide on a virgin site will open the flood gates in further wells - but it normally does afaik. 5 years could see an abundance of wells if all goes well.

I am slightly amused that pre 10Mw Moagi was moaning that electricity would not arrive at Serowe for maybe 2 or 3 years, and now he has what he has been desperate for forever and a day , he is moaning about 5 years! Is that progress?

Given the history of Botswana's need for a reliable power supply isn't it incredible today's signing was not done 5 years ago? Perhaps the balloons took that long to blow up? By the time the fifth one was inflated the first couple had deflated ?

For anybody who has lost their desktop and tool bar icons, the tool bar is best restored by uing "type here to search" to enter the name of an App e.g. Powerpoint, Access, Outlook which will allow you to run the app. The icon will appear in the toolbar to show it is active, click on the icon and and choose "pin to taskbar' for a permanent link.

The three I mentioned were not easy to find - not help because I am more oriented to the Mac operating system. Finding what you are running on a Mac is very simple.

Mine says nothing about Windows 11 or the drivers , which leaves me wondering if it was just a Widows 10 release in preparation for 11?

I was messing with my Sudoko spreadsheet when it suddenly disappeared!
Firefox disappeared too - nothing was working so I shut down and rebooted!

Got weird Firefox message on restart (after a message Windows was being built, or words to that effect).
It still thinks I am using Windows 10 but I suspect Microsoft or HP has uploaded the Windows 11 drivers , and reset my desk-top , tool bar , etc and default everything to Microsoft products!!!!

The software is still there, and I have opened Word and Excel and found the Sudoko file is intact from time it shutdown on me.

All my Firefox passwords and short cuts have evaporated - even the master password was unknown!

I ran an HP utility which I ecpected to merely show me whether my laptop was compatible!
It said my machine did not match it's description , and gave me the option , I thought of examining ALL my drivers for compatibility!

That may have triggered the auto-download and installation so be warned that Windows 10 mat be wiped automatically, or that HP advice might do it!

My Word password on my backup document was retained but I have to reassert my passwords and accounts if I can remember them all! Anti-virus seems to be running so start ups may be active and it is just the shortcuts (icons) to set up.
And Firefox add-ons and several other things for sure!
