RE: Windows 11 from Windows 10?18 Oct 2021 02:05
FO Moagi!
A lot of people could suffer from this Microsoft or HP update.
I have been in computers since 1967 and was confused what was happening.
Have you ever considered anybody but yourself in your whole life?
Go back to ADVFN and bore everybody there - you are a total waste of space on here.
You accuse me of always wanting the last word - just look at your recent twaddle and ask yourself which of us that applies to most!!!!!
For anybody who has lost their desktop and tool bar icons, the tool bar is best restored by uing "type here to search" to enter the name of an App e.g. Powerpoint, Access, Outlook which will allow you to run the app. The icon will appear in the toolbar to show it is active, click on the icon and and choose "pin to taskbar' for a permanent link.
The three I mentioned were not easy to find - not help because I am more oriented to the Mac operating system. Finding what you are running on a Mac is very simple.
On Windows ,
Find operating system info in Windows 10
To find out which version of Windows your device is running, press the Windows logo key + R, type winver in the Open box, and then select OK.
Mine says nothing about Windows 11 or the drivers , which leaves me wondering if it was just a Widows 10 release in preparation for 11?
I hope you have a similar problem Moagi - you deserve it! Prick!
