It is not all bad news - it is a recognised fact heavy dewatering is usually followed by higher gas flows than expected. We own a vertical drill but needed to hire outside drills to do the lateral wells. From experience , TG , knew that there could be expensive downtime if he hired equipment which justified buy one. I think downtime and Covid have been hand in glove to explain the lack of Lesedi expansions in terms of wells.

Selemo was dewatered in a matter of months - if only Lesedi had followed suit!

You might ask why we moved to Lesedi?
At Selemo we are obliged to pay royalties on the gas extracted or the electricity produced.
Lesedi is in a different "plot" where the royalties are not due, but Lesedi must have more than that going for it.

If we gave Synergen the Selemo site, I wonder what that does on the royalties front? You can bet your life Hydrogen and Carbon was not considered when that the agreement was signed?

Gas sales was 12% and electricity 3% from memory! What a winner if Hydrogen and Carbon are free?

The scouts in Botswana have already waited those 7 years for TLOU to mature. We are within a year of breaking into the big boy's league if the Hydrogen experiment goes well, or maybe 2 years with CBM power if it does not.

Synergen mission statement was to rent out their kit to customers.

The marriage with Tlou means the Red Sea is open is to them become producers for the same input as renting out their kit .

Tlou have the identical opportunity for gas that is currently being wasted plus some solar panels that were in future plans.

I am not sure about turning Hydrogen into power - I have my doubts we’ll produce electricity as MM suggests.

We’ll need to deliver the solid carbon so adding hydrogen storage vessels to the carbon carriers will still see us up and running!

It also takes poles and wire off the critical path making Hydrogen future safer?

Producing hydrogen with fuel cells for a 66KV supply looks difficult to me - but I know little on the subject.

Can the power produceable from hydrogen bottles be assessed as an equivalent in electrical power and figure as part of the 10MW PPA?

I hope MM is right to get the poles/wires ready for CBM but this is why I love Tlou - eIther route looks OK and I trust TG to get it right.

The multiple units quoted in most articles makes it impossible for me to form any sort of mental picture.
I'm getting the impression that producing 66KV from a hydrogen source looks quite a challenge but we have ahead start on most plants because we have the gas and sun in Botswana on "tap", saving us a fortune, and cost is hydrogen's major stumbling block. Not only is it on "tap" but the delivery cost and reliability could hardly be better. It is quite intriguing!

For information on fuel cells, this looks super to my untrained eye.
Hydrogen engines in cars still looks to me as if JCB has the answer.

If not we'll need to duplicate generators for both hydrogen and CBM?
That will mean TLOU won't be limited to simply providing some solar panels earlier than expected , but a potentially redundant hydrogen to power generator can be added.

I'm pleased Synergen are building the prototype in Brisbane. That gives us time to delay ordered that generator (if indeed one is needed) until we see that Syn's kit will produce hydrogen?

LSE is very poor at reflecting a true picture, 18 months ago I found whole pages of posts on "GLR" , which confirms he has spread himself across other stocks.

TG said we'd be selling the hydrogen through our 10MW PPA with BPC.
I don't see how the hydrogen becomes electricity going that route.

Imho there is only one choice to make on TLOU!

Do you trust TG or not? Yes or No - could not be simpler!

The implications of Yes?
1. The project will succeed within budget but with an unknown timetable for the whole business.

And of NO? WTF? Who would risk enough money to make daily/hourly monitoring necessary ?

And, following on , what effect is the current and/or recent SP having?

For the YES voters .... TG will bring in funding at a prudent price - allowing the company to expand and increase profitability - giving every reason to invest at a bargain price.

For the NO voters .... huge dilution , high interest rate , nowhere near the Yes's expected 8% !
Instead , 18% , 80% , 180% ... pick any high number, remembering TG does not have your vote!!!!!
TLOU will struggling to meet the repayments far less expand or more placings will be needed to dilute the shareprice even more!!!!

The YESES will very likely have options at 8c and/or 4.4p so are they in a hurry to buy more before June/July next year???????? If they increase to 11p by the deadline , the option price will feel good!

For the NOES and the YESES it makes sense to wait for details of funding!!!! Dormant SP is a consequence , and has been through delays in getting a PPA, Covid and now the initial funding.

If the repayment period of grace is 2 years , the rate is less than say 10% , and dilution is minimal then that 11p will be a formality!!!! DOES IS MATTER WHETHER IT GETS TO 11P+ FROM 10P, 9P, 8P OR 4P OR 3P OR 2P???????? I don't think so!!! If we were around 11p today, it would be nice to se a profit on ASX and LSE , but once funding pushes it up a bit - the fact I had been in profit or loss won't matter a jot!!!

The story here has been the same , except we are now chasing 5 products instead of 2!
{Solar + CBM power} v {Hydrogen, Carbon , CBM power , CBM gas (Orapa) and Solar!}

It is almost too good to be true but we have seen the pages being written page by page!
