Whizzer, I spoke with my son today - and , following your request for any news on crypto , I asked him about his view on the current climate.
He is out of shares and totally into cryptos, as I thought. But he feels the world and the UK in particular are moving with some certainty to a huge financial crash. The stock exchange has been rising for years, property rises are through the roof , Crypto currencies have rocketed aongst some dips and he expects a house of cards next year!
He is considering dumping his holdings , leaving the obvious question , what to do with the cash?
This advice is directed at you Whizz, in fact, I never said anything about our thread.
He told me about stable coin , a crypto without the phenominal risks and rewards that many of the cryptos give! The link gives one which is joined at the hip to USD , and offers 19.5% interest without insurance. He recommends taking the insurance which reduces the rate to 16%.
I think he knows there is little chance of my moving away from TLOU , but
https://www.gemini.com/cryptopedia/terra-luna-coin-fiat-stablecoin
may well feature in his future if TG walks away after making his fortune from TLOU.
If TG stays, then so will I, chasing dividends for my heirs!!!!
I have not followed that link yet, so I have some reading to do.
He made a gut £600k in less than a year before telling him to sell up and put the money under the mattress (figuratively) because the FTSE was far too high and was going to crash! It took 4 months and the guy was very happy and relieved he trusted my boy. All £600k profit would have disappeared. And presumably some or all of his stake faik.
