Not that I'm making excuses for him (I agree he should own more shares), but perhaps he's still legally unable to due to possession of inside information, which hasn't been disclosed to the market? It can be tricky sometimes to buy shares as a director as the market abuse rules are very strict.

No point averaging down unless you believe in the company's prospects.

Well I can see the SP recovering in the future as positive news is released regarding the permits. Don't think this will drop any lower IMHO.

Stockdale - clearly the company has some value. Why would they spend hours posting on a forum about a company that's worthless?! They must be crackers.

My investment here has always been about the asset - that's a lot of money in the ground. Permits coming soon IMHO.

Gerry65 - moving more towards cheap index tracker funds now. You get easy diversification without the stress of having to research individual companies and having an "edge" over others.

Gerry I appreciate your sympathy for LTH. But really, isn't the whole point of a share portfolio to have 10+ companies in it, and probably also a few funds and bonds so that your whole wealth isn't skewed by one underperforming share? If LTH haven't done that, then that's pretty reckless. Investing shouldn't be an emotional rollercoaster: if one of your shares goes down 30% your PF needs to be well designed and robust enough for it to handle it - that's ultimately how LTH can reduce the stress of investing (particularly in AIM stocks), IMHO.

Reso, they might be restricted by the terms of the NDA's about revealing who the interested parties are.

Sadly my paper loss is too great to even consider selling now. Will have to leave this in the bottom drawer and build up my savings and other investments to de-weight my investment here. What is encouraging is that the company is still producing so there is still a revenue stream to pay for listing costs etc. I don't think we know the full story here and I'm hopeful a positive curveball will be thrown our way soon. GLA.

I guess Slovenia doesn't have any case at all on the environmental front hence the stalling - they also know they cannot just say "no" to the project as this is not in accordance with EU free movement principles. Frankly, I cannot understand why they wouldn't be interested considering all the advantages AND the fact that outside investors have already funded the project! Just doesn't make any sense. This leads us to is possible corruption and from a third party who doesn't want AST to develop the field and has promised Slovenia better terms.
