In reality, if you take the fact that 2 Warrants are being issued per new share then, if all warrants are taken up (which they woud if everything goes well or even just gives people some profit) then there will ACTUALLY be over 1.3 Billion total new shares issues in the future.

This represents HALF the current Shares in market HA HA HA

This type of Con is always used. It's called LYING WITH STATISTICS! and used by companies, politicans and con people to hoodwink people to think its not that bad.

Gas Prices will begin to fall much more in the next 3-6 months so ANGUS is now a Dead Duck!

Gladly, as I pointed out some time back, I decided to take my final profit and head to better, more stable, reliable shares.

ricahr: Unfortunately, once again, the Jupiter fund put a SHORT on the stock in October. I supect (as is always the case) that the SP is going to be (mysteriously) manipulatetd in a way that seems to benefit Jupiter (go figure eh).

Hence why I think it's a day/multiday trading opportunity.

However, historically we my also see the SP rise again before Xmasq as the (imaginary manipulation) SP fluctationing reaches a conclusion.

We all know of course that there can't possibly be any form of insider trading or MM manipulation, after all everything is above board.... hence never investigated.

It's only PIs like use that don't get invited to the party.

But maybe that's just me (and many other PIs) imagining things :-) :-) :-)

Purple: AS Wyndrum notes it's down to the spread plus potential profit.

FOr me it costs just under £6 per trade (regardless of value) hence total percentage hit on on a buy/sell or sell/buy is only 1.2% for £100.

However I tend to commit £10k trades bringing the total spread hit down to 0.12%.

As well as using larger value to reduce overall sperad effects its also about trading 'tactics'.

there are two main ways to day/multiday trade;

1) Buy/Sell entire share ownership in either each Equity or entire Portfolio, or
2) Use 'Topper' approach which means trading only a percentage of an equity to gain potential "Compounding" effect.

I tend to use both of the above. That is, I tend to have only 60-80% of my portfolio in equities, leaving 20-40% for day/multiday trading.

In the latter case "Topper" approach I sold £20k (£10k from each of two of my accounts) yesterday to sell at 1.23 then buy back in at 1.17.

this only represented 30% of my Aavacta Portfolio and I was happy to day trade on the basis that I was willing to potentially lose any SP spike due to good news. However, I was still selling the £20k conatining profit, so technically I am only losing 'additional' profit.

With the remaining 70% of my Avacta holding I'm still sitting pretty if the SP spiked on me instead.

However, I am happy that I was able to extract the profit on the 30% and then 'reinvet' thaat extra profit BACK into AVACTA hence giving potentail Compounding.

Additionally, keeping 20% of my Portfolio in csh has given me the additional benefit that I've been able to Top UP my Avacta portfolio today with the falling price.

I don't tend to invest in marge chunks so to speak.

So for today for exampl I've made 4 trades on Avacta as the price dropped to effectively Average Down.

In the long run I am more heavily invested in Avacta than I would nomrally be in a Portfolio. But, I have a lot of faith in the product as well as the immense Ethical aspects of investing in such a medical endeavour.

So for me Day Trading isn't about risking the entire portfolio but trading a percentage that I'm happy to use while keeping cash and shares such that I can profit.

My advice for newbie day traders is only use around 10% of your portfolio to 'day/multiday' trade until you're happy with your chosen strategy.

And of course.... you HAVE to be HAPPY or accept that you sometimes have to take a loss. But that's life and experience.

Ultimately, a lot pof people try to catch the Big SP Jumpers, but for me its about gaining an "average" 1%-2% or more every day or even only every week. Most people want to make a BIG Splash but Compounding your Porfolio at 1%-2% even on a weekly basis adds up to a BIG yearly Profit. It pays all my bills and leaves me happy..... every year.

He is referring to the end of Phase 1.... which is the end of the Phase 1b stage.

We can't/won't move on to 1b until 1a is successfully completed/announced. So, hopefully that will be within next 2-3 weeks but likely not later than 23rd jan'23 (or thereabouts).

So May/June'23 is viable for ending Phase 1 and possible entry into Phase 2.

However, my view is that if Avacta is allowed to enter Phase 2 then the outcome will be all but academic. Since Dox is well-established, known for it's capabilities and AV6000 is only acting aas a "delivery mechanism". Hence it will be a no-brainer.

So, formal entry into Phase 2 will be the opening of the SP floodgates.

And, since I want every opportunity to buy as many shares as I can before the SP gets agood re-rate..... I'm happy for it to keep fluctuating like this :-)

gmcc: The Patent does NOT affect Avacta.

Even 'if' the Patent were to somehow 'cover' Avacta products, processes, applications, the fact is that the Patent is filed well AFTER Avacta informed the rest of the scientific community of their products.

Hence the Avacta information was already "IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN" so to speak.

You cannot retrospectively file a Patent and insist that it captures anything that is already known "At the time of filing".

The Caveat is "At the time of filing".

So, the only question is whether Avacta had published/patented/declared their products, processes etc before the referenced Patent was originally filed.

Also, the referenced Patent would have to go through the PCT process to become more 'worldwide'.

The ONLY major issue is that MANY companies file patents in the hope to put pressure on other companies to either pay them royalties or hush money etc; or to slow down opposition.

For example, SUN, APPLE and IBM register hundreds of Patents every year covering as many topics of work as they can that allows them to then take their opponents to court. This locks the opponent in a court battle lasting potentially years and prevents them producing, selling etc without gaining Court decisions etc.

A lot of it is pure Commercial Sabotage etc.

But, Avacta will no doubt already be on handling the matter 'IF' there is any likely impact.

swoop: THe anser to your question is "NO".

Avacta cannot progress to Phase 1B with a 'higher' dose than currently used in Phase 1a (arm 4).

Since there is absolutely NO data as to the impact/effects of a higher dosage on recipients. They (Avacta) would have ot extend P1A with another dosage increase phase in order to collect relevant data.

It would be Unethical to progress to P1B in such circumstances.

Ocelot: Commencing Horizontal drilling 'above' the anticipated target gives a natural downward 'slant' to allow better flow. Not much more than that.

It also gives the opportunity to recommence drilling downwards if they miss the 'pocket(s)' they are aiming for and then recommening horizontal drilling more easily; trying to 'back-up' a Shaft then commencing horizontal drilling is just less efficient.

Reviewing the timsecales of the previous phasing RNS releases gives two options:-

1) RNS released within next 2 weeks (up to 9th dec'22), or
2) RNS released in Q1'23 (up to 23rd jan'23).

So, best case scenario is we get an early Christmas present or we have to wait for our New Year resolution to hold on to the shares.

However, it should be noted that we are still ONLY in Phase 1a "Dose Escalation" and as yet no guarantee of entering Phase 1b...... as yet.

Risk32: Correct. I should have mentioned that you can't take pension or cash lump before age 55 (minimum). And as you say, anyone offering to allow you to do so or who says thtey can do it for you are defintiely on the take.

The below pension age tax hit shouldn't apply if you are over 55 as you are entitled to take up pension over this age. THe only impact should be that your calculated pension payment will be lower thhan if you wait until the official pension age. So it's a trade-off on lower monthly pension payments versus early access.

I personally have alreeady taken two deferred pensions from BAe Systems which have the Step-up payments, so will have a reduced payment once I hit 65.

The benefit as I see is is that I gained access to 25% cash from the pension pots which I'm able to dump into my Nominee account and ISA and looking to gain a lot more in Share profits/Diviends over the following years which will far outwiegh any loss from pension payments.

After all, there's no guarantee I'll live up to official retirement of how much longer afterwards.

So, I've made the decision to gain access to the funds now with a small reduction and invest it myself at much better rate than the Pension provider is doing. It's all then down to me to do a good investment job.

The only Dilemma I'm facing with the Avactaa Share options is just how many they are likely to award me in excess to my basic allowance.

I decided to cash in all my other portfolio shares across my 3 X-O accounts (Nominee, ISA & SIPP) to give me the ability to max out my Excess Share purchase request.

Obviously there may be some 'reduction' but hoping that the gods will smile on me and I can get even 25% of what I'm asking for.

I'd already decided that my other Portfolio shares had hit their potential peaks so happy tto get the cash - especaily given the ptoential 7bp increase this Thursday be BOE. Hoping it will have a short-term hit on most SPs so I can use any unused cash from the Avacta Share Purchase to jump back in on previous shares and some new ones.

So, here's to everyone getting the shares they are asking for.... but hoping I get all mine first :-) :-)

SIPP Cash Withdrawal.

You can't normally just 'withdraw' cash from a SIPP account as though it is a nrmal trading account.

SIPPs are a "Pension Wrapper" and as such have to comply with Pension rules.

This means you can initiate a Draw-Down on the SIPP much as a Pension pot but you are only allowed to withdraw a max 25% tax free. It's liely the SIPP provider will really want you to begin taking such cash in the form of a Pension. i.e. Take up to 25% Cash free then monthly Pension payments based on their projections.

But if you're not ready to take the SIPP as a pension then best bet is to leave thesurplus cash in to re-invest.

Given the state of economy, Interest rates etc may be worth considering an SP100/500 Company offering decent stable Dividends. Even if these drop their SP over the short-term, likely to rise back up over next few years while giving some level of income.

IMHO

Seems like a good opportunity due to slight over-reaction.

It has been known that ITM is still developing their tech and any innovative company will always come across a few hurdles before possibly reaching a more stable capability.

Plus least not forget that more recent developments in this type of tech can always be adopted if the BOD have the common sense and balls to seek alternative or 'hybrid' means to improve their own 'inhouse' tech.

It shouldn't take long for the BOD etc to resolve issues one way or another.

So, taking opportunity to top up and sit out for next few days for price to rise and stabilise following the rutting.

Covid Testing is no longer viable for Avacta. The Covid Diagnostics arena is over-populated with cheap Chinese LFT products which have cornered the Covid Testig market.

this is an utter waste of AVACTA' time, effort and funds.... while also Diluting the SP for current Investors.

As a PI I'm NOT happy with the BOD for this stupid "side-line" business.... it's an utter folly at best given the market dominance by Cinese products.
