How come you cannot bring yourself to acknowledge that one person warned folks on this board that Tlou was not all it was cracked up to be. And now, when you and yer mates are pivoting to the reality that Botswana is a basket case of an investment jurisdiction - you want to keep try kicking me ....... I made my decision to invest in Tlou at IPO - 100 per cent on me. When it drifted to 10 cents - well guess what - I got stuck in and learned about the problems in Botswana. And I tried to share some of those concerns here.

Instead of anyone saying thank you; all I get is S H 1 T for posting is happening in Botswana; how carp the Govt and Ministry are; how broke BPC is and why a PPA with them is worth the price of toilet paper; and WHY the dream you guys were all sold when it traded below 10 cents that the SAPP was the 'promised land' for the company - again I tried to tell you not to believe all you read.

Go read these 2 documents. Their leases are sandwiched between Sekaname leases, which they reference several times throughout both documents. it looks like Botala purchased Sekaname plant and equipment, given that it could only have been theirs or Tlou's. And I doubt Tlou have sold any of their kit.

They are building their business model on supplying gas to S Africa under 2 large Offtakers plus probably looking to sell some sort of power to BPC (not sure if it is gas of solar feedstock) - SCAW and Novo Energy. So they recognise the folly of dependency on Bots Govt and insolvent BPC - good for them. They may end up being the ones to finally establish a gas market in Botswana - Sekaname and Tlou, you had the pitch all to yourselves and you couldnt deliver. hang your heads in shame .....

Mind you - I aint saying Botala will crack CBM in Botswana - not yet anyways.

Jeez brad - stop blaming lack of progress on covid. They build the TX line and one and three quarters sub-stations. They start everything but finish nothing ..... Good strategy is, and always was, all about good execution.

The bigger concern is the flakiness of the coal seams - this problem doesnt just disappear over time. My oh my, imagine if Saint Tony has to admit defeat and drill verticals.

I suppose that is one perspective on the last 6 months. Another is that they seem to have done FA squared - but I will just be accused of having an axe to grind etc.

I dont btw. I just say it as I see it - and this foray into Botswana and trying to develop a new gas market has been an unmitigated disaster and wealth destroyer from start to finish. Gas will come good in the end; just that all us early bird shareholders in Tlou will not be reaping significant benefit from our investments.

Well now we know. They have no money to finish the Gas to Power project or the wells dont work or both.

This article provides some insight on just how far BPC and BERA (energy regulator) in Botswana have to travel before their grid is fit for purpose to work with is neighbours and getting the SAPP a significantly more efficient vehicle for sharing power across the various borders.

Saint Tony and disciple Tidd_83 only ever told us how fantastic the SAPP opportunity would be for Tlou and its (with the benefit of considerable hindsight, now gullible) shareholders. Saint Tony and team are supposed to know at least some of these things heading in - so if they did, then they are guilty of over-marketing / simplifying the scale of the task. Just as many here - including me - were guilty of wanting to believe we had all latched onto the next great thing.

No need worry about past announcements for much longer - lets wait and see the progress in Qtr 1 2025. Where power is much needed; where the TX line was completed last year; where one sub-station complete and connected and the other near completion; and wells dewatering in quantities sufficient to end the drought in southern africa.

How will they spin it / us this time - something old, something new, something borrowed or just the same old dressed up to keep hood-winking Brad and disciples believing rapid progress is being made to sell first power to their Off-taker (who sadly is near insolvent) ........
