I mean ... really ... is that the best you can offer. You must be tired - good you are off for a snooze.
Me 2. Always happy, especially when i get a message from one of the fab 3.
Anyone looking in - dont be silly. They checked out years ago. Just bluffers and counter-bluffers lurking around here these days.
Pretty lame effort HB. But sure you and Clooless keep chatting - at least you both have a strategy that can be deciphered. Unlike the management team at Tlou.
Keep up the good work; the more we all chit chat and bicker over meaningless points, the more destroyed this Board is as a forum to market and discuss and promote Tlou. You guys collectively are managing to kill off any meaningful educational interesting relevant discussion points - are you proud? are you happy?
I loooooooove it !!
And then again:
Substation Construction
The planned substation at Lesedi was designed for an initial 5MW of power, however the Company is working on options that may allow the substation design to be adapted to facilitate expansion beyond 10MW.
A new substation is required at the Lesedi end of the transmission line whereas at the opposite end, it will tie into the existing BPC substation at Serowe. Including the additional work required to expand capacity beyond 10MW, the substations are approximately 37% complete. It is currently anticipated that the project will be completed around mid-2024.
I will just let Tlou explain how complicated sub-stations are for you directly. I dont feel the need to repeat that it seems there is no urgency on the part of Management to complete the project work. I mean, they are now well used to operating at Africa pace - which is great when you are getting paid (at someone else's expense).
Dont worry fellas. I dont expect you to agree that this is the slowest, laziest management team on AIM. Or ASX probably. Just as i dont expect any of you are capable enough of ever trying to hold them to account. I mean, just reading the shoite you post in supporting the project speaks volumes. You all must be the most successful punters of all time ..... not.
"Tlou is constructing a coal bed methane (CBM) extraction and power generation plant at Lesedi, west of Serowe in Botswana. A 66kV transmission line and associated substations will connect the plant to the Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) grid at Serowe. The grid connection project is divided into two project parts; (i) the 66kV overhead transmission line, and (ii) the substation works at both ends of the line."
Substation Construction
and then
"Substations are required at either end of the transmission line, one to tie Tlou's generators to the transmission line at Lesedi and another to integrate the line with the existing BPC substation at Serowe. This work will be completed by South African based OptiPower, a division of Murray & Roberts Ltd."

The planned substation at Lesedi is currently designed for an initial 5MW of power which can be upgraded to 10MW at a later stage with the project anticipated to be completed in early 2024. Endless supply (not shortage)
Of course you guys are right. No point rushing the project after all these years. After all, there is an endless shortage of cash to call on in Botswana. Easy money. And of course dilution doesnt matter either - these types of projects all take billions of shares to deliver. All good, lets move on to the next outstandingly good decision made by Free and his mates.
Oh i forgot. Again. The idea of management working and drawing salary and spending shareholders money is to build the proof of concept as slowly as possible. Ignore my earlier posts on this topic; its all clear now.
Bit more complicated than that mate - but anyways. There was a tx line to construct, 2 sub-stations to work on / construct / connect. We are not inventing the wheel here - not going to play the Capt Hindsight card here but I would really like Free to explain how come their critical path scheduling is 1, 2, 3 rather than reasonably all at once.....
I mean - we are dealing with intelligent capable people here - right.
Free - given management has had months, nay years to plan the connectivity of the project, why is it that a sub-station construction is the cause of the latest delay? Why would one be being built at one end and yet the other end (it seems) starts construction only after the first one is finished. Not very clever critical path identification and scheduling....
Is it unreasonable for shareholders here to have expected better from the management team?
Oh so now you have a prejudice against Doncaster.... More arrogance from the Tlou diehards - the same folks that are witnessing investment destruction and their only push back is to attach those that told them so. Amazing how your eyes and brains are so disconnected.
on point, as always cloooooo. we are lucky to have you here keeping us all on the straight and narrow. your insight, hindsight and fore****e is truly wondrous to observe ! keep up the good work; we all look forward to your next gem . big kiss to you xxx
Pure arrogance personified in your post right there HB. You and your mates, talking endlessly about Tlou or criticising me or anyone who posts bad things about a stock you have been invested in for years, that hasn't performed or delivered on the uber-attractive promise or riches that got you first involved here.
Really and truly, you bunch of Bradofiles should catch a dose of reality rather than the dementia induced drivel you have all waffles for heaven knows how many years. TLOU HAS BEEN A DISASTER !!
Agree with your pathetic sentiment Bob. As for worthless - no, its not. Its just we are going to get nowhere as much back as the endless drivel spouted here would have one believe.
But goodness; what an incredibly negative post. Refreshing to know I am not alone here.......
Tlou message board brains trust believe the following:
1. That common sense as folks in the Western world understand applies in Africa and Botswana;
2. That equity fund raises for Tlou these past 3 years have been easy to achieve;
3. That Tlou can dictate power pricing to BPC and Ministry of Mines & Energy, and worse that Tlou are getting premium pricing compared to the wider market;
This just for starters. Years taken; years wasted; money wasted; lies told; strategy flip-flopped multiple times; loss of control; BS spun to gullible retail AIM punters (aussies are far more clued in than binary-minded buffoons here).
Gas to power is primary strategy. Prove the concept, then look to scale - how many millions of dollars or quid has it cost to deliver a Proof of Concept that is an established industry elsewhere in the world in multiple jurisdictions. And yet the glitterati here write endless reams and reams of carp about the amazing Management team, Saint Tony, how he/they know what he/they are doing.
Have a nice weekend chaparoos. Be happy, keep convincing yourselves that the more carp i post, the better your investment is going to turn out. Of course you are all right !!
I guess you identify as binary. We can keep this dance going as long as you like. As you all like to remind me, i have been talking carp for years and years. I can easily keep yapping back at you for as long as needs be.
Excellent. So Free wants to get involved now - and he knows we know he is either on the management team or a mouth piece for the management team. One thing he got right - I dont know the price Tlou are getting for their electricity to BPC.. I never said I did. I said it was not the silly high price others here would try make you believe it might be. And i stick to that.
Free, just for you - there is lots and lots of chat in Gabs about the price pf Tlou's PPA and Sekaname's PPA. And that is where my views originate - now feel free to inform everybody here what Tlou's price is. But if you want to say I am wrong - back it up with something to substantiate your view please. Any old body can say what something isn't !
Is this fixation by you and Clooless about my post on ease of fundraising the best you can come up with? Amongst my hundreds of posts - this is your only hook?!
For the record - 8 percent subscription rate on the first pass through isnt a good result in my book. Maybe next time TYlou initiate a fund raise they will avoid it around calendar year end. Everybody knows Bots shuts down for best part 6 weeks then. Except Tlou management team it seems. And you pair.
Winni - you raise valid points.
Govt does not have all the power - but they have the greater majority of it. 90 plus per cent i would say. There has been power shortages for decades, and the amount of money wasted by Govt buying way more expensive imported power - and thwarting local power generation ie CBM for near 20 years - is simply ridiculous and scandalous. You have to ask the question Why has the Govt there allowed this to continue for so long.
I would be happy if Tlou were selling to BPC at a price say 50 per cent of the cost of imported power. Trust me - they are not! Not even close i fancy.
When i wonder will it register my 'overall negative view' is centred more on my prejudice of an incompetent Govt and Ministry, mixed together with a bunch of cheer leaders who had no idea whatsoever how hopeless and useless the country had been managed for 10 years under Khama, and sadly is still being managed for past 5 years under Masisi. LM is one corrupt lazy SOAB; the problem is whoever follows him will likely be equally inept.
How to destroy one of the finest countries in Africa.

Looks like Dave Catterall is much in demand. Just in case anyone thought he was exclusive to Kavango.
Of course, Brad who doesnt read my posts, will claim that TG is so smart he would only agree to a (reasonably or better) profitable deal. And that TG will be able to sell as much power as Tlou can produce at lucrative pricing ahead. For no reason other than i am suggesting something polar opposite is the more likely scenario.
History and hindsight will judge - won't stop endlessly pathetic, meaningless, bland, wide-ranging, waffle as to why the last 10 plus years have been anything but an unmitigated investment disaster.
Perhaps trying remembering - All good things come to those who wait. Or else you die and then it doesn't matter !
The bigger issue here actually is this - Govt of Botswana and its Ministries (especially Moagi at Mines & Energy) need to sort their carp out. They are crucifying the country via blatant inaction in approvals processes - for no reason other than to line their own pockets. The surveys and indices saying Botswana is least corrupt, best business, welcoming and transparent is complete Donkey poop !! And there are a lot of donkeys and goats in Botswana.
