Meanwhile as Tlou and likely Sekaname run round in circles, Botala are charging ahead with fancy sounding development plans. Mind you, all of them are dependent on producing gas - and reading Botala field development plan in link above, that says they rely on results from MAS13, which was a Sekaname 5-spot many moons ago.

Because Debswana does not need BOD - but for sure BOD needs someone like Debswana and anyone else with a balance sheet and money. Apparently Orapa mine has been idled in recent months, because the shift workers and unions refused to reduce hours and shift allowances. So only way management can conserve cash flow is to put plant on care and maintenance basis for a period of time - which will likely end up being an extended period as global demand simply is not there presently.

BOD is going nowhere fast - because it has nowhere to actually go.

I do not see a management or other buyout of ZIOC any time soon. Life in general and Africa in particular is no longer this kind to the marauding and clever whities. There is a long wait ahead imo.

And the epicentre of Data Centre locations is going to be on or near a mining camp site or set down yard in central Botswana, miles away from human being creature comforts. As you said yourself in Top Gear post Brad, botswana is not exactly the most glamorous of locations for working .... But as usual all you can see is the diversionary fluff that TG and team spin out.

Have they received any money from Kala?

Have they placed orders for any generators?

Have they resolved dewatering issues after 5 years coz surely this issue should have been resolved long before now?

Have they finalised connection of both ends to sub-stations - it is normal electrical engineering work?

Of course they haven't - why? Coz they are broke and cant raise any new equity coz nobody is listening or believing any more.
