We are currently at $28.43 = £21.10 = Exchange Rate 1.3474

In January we were at an Exchange Rate of $1.21 / £1..........

That would put today's US Dollar share price of $28.43 / 1.21 = £23.50.......

£23.50............................

We are losing £2.40 on the Exchange Rate.........

That is one lucky child.!

I have never cruised Carnival.

I know people who have.

Shorter cruises generally are the one's that have these type of incidents.

So on a TA, I think you might be safe.!

The only share that I am aware of in recent time that has properly gone up and properly reflected the value and the potential of the company is Rolls Royce.

Carnival's P/E (Price to Earnings) is 16.

Nvidia is 56

Tesla is 129.

Royal Caribbean's is 24. So, like for like, we should be at £30 now.!

We will have to agree to disagree, as every day there is a spike it also coincides with large volumes of small trades, either selling or buying.

We dropped 35p with no large sells, just lots of smaller sells. 1, 3, 8, 62, 94 etc. etc.

Maybe it's just coincidence every day, but when it jumps up it's the same but with buys instead of sells.

I don't work / didn't work in the industry, so I may well be wrong, I can only go on what I see. Either way, I hate AI's.! I hate the fact that if you need to do something you have to download an App.

True story. I went to the hospital a few months ago. I needed to download an App to register so I could down the Parking App to pay for parking..... An App for an App.....

I agree, buying or selling 1, 2 or 3 shares won't move the price.

Buying/Selling 100,000 shares or 500,000 shares in small chunks, including 1, 2 and 3 shares will.

We do that here in the UK as well.!

All "Sensitive" stocks are manipulated via the AI Bots.

Oil price goes up, AI's say that is more expensive for all travel companies, they sell 100,000 Carnival shares but in 1, 2, 3, 100, 50, 75, 250, 400, 600 chunks.

So there are "500 Sell trades" made by AI, when AI is finished, they buy the stock, and AI then buys 500,000 shares with 750 trades, ut equally sells 500,000 on the way up therefore creating a neutral position.

and then magically, you've made 50 to 75p a share x 500,000 shares....... and that's just one transaction.

Reality is us Human's can't do that because we pay for each trade, we pay at source the CGT, and we have a spread on the buy/sell price, and we take many seconds to do it........

"Yes", in theory, but as the MM's manage the "buy and sells" and AI mimic volumes of people buying 1, 2, 3, 5 shares, it pushes the SP accordingly.

And again.

A 35p drop.

Because the Institutional Investors use their AI Bots to sell tiny amounts, tank the price, then they buy bigger volumes, which then in turn increases the price, and then they sell again and make 50p on every share on a flat day.

If you could time with b*stards, you could have free shares easily within a month. The swings on Carnival are ridiculous, and all because of the manipulation.

Looks like CPI has gone up 0.2% which the market was hoping for which means that the Fed should drop rates next month
