ok. All analysts when they reiterate a new rate you see the new rate, i.e. 2200 (£22.00), and then the old rate expectations, i.e. 1750 (£17.50)

In other words, Morgan Stanley have raised their price target for Carnival UK from £17.50 to £22.00.

Hope that's clearer.

I was also reading about a survey where they were asking that if they charged for a tender ticket on ports where they tendered, would people buy the ticket.!

Incredibly some said yes.! The argument being that it's no different than getting a port shuttle....!!!

I'm sure that Carnival would milk that one if that comes in. They would never dock again, as they would save on docking fee's, and make money on Tender tickets.!

Additionally.

After reading the Celebration Key "stuff", about the Drink Packages etc. now I can see why the Drinks package does not extend to the Island.....

When you're paying $300 for a 7 night cruise on Carnival, they will absolutely want to nickel and dime you on every aspect. You also get "One" snack per person.!

With Celebration Key open, Ships now docking, increased already to two ships per day, £25 for 2025 is definitely on the cards in a very strong way.

As long as nobody sinks anything, or shots down anything, we should be good.

After Hours we are at $27.38. So a 30c or 20p Gain on our opening.

Unfortunately the Exchange Rate is getting worst for us, now over 1.35.

The after hours close of $27.38 in January this year would have been worth £22.63 in the old exchange rate....... A huge difference.....That's a £2.50 Exchange Rate Loss.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is the highest US Close day since Pre-Covid.......

We closed at $27.08. The US Closed at $27.31. 23c Gain since our close. 17p UP for our opening.....

I would never post my holdings to try to compare against other people. Everyone is different, and everyone has different circumstances, risk views, and priorities. If you are happy with your buy and sell, that is what's important.

If you managed to get a new car from it as well, even better.

I have been very fortunate with Carnival, buying after covid at £6 ish, then selling at £13 ish, rebuying larger chunks at £8 ish and selling from £14. I've tried and failed twice to day trade so ended up just holding.

We closed at $27.515. The US Closed at $27.21. Unfortunately that is a 30.5c drop after our close.

That is a 23p Drop for us in the morning.

Earlier today, as it just continued to go up, I watch my holding just in Carnival rise and took an executive, and honestly sensible decision, to sell 9,817 shares to be exact.

I'm still holding more than some of the fund holders, and still believe that this will be £25 for 2025.

So the Exchange rate has got 0.5c worse, and when you do the US to UK conversion now we seem to be about 10p better off.

So either the US price is going to jump, or we are going to tank just to equal the exchange rate variance.....

I'm on the brink of selling down some again. I set a rule the last time and I'm well above that level with one holding as I bought more when it dropped.

I got a price of £20.28 for 8,500 shares but just couldn't bring myself to press sell....... Next week should hopefully be very very very good......

Snap. I was 53 when I stopped working as well, I would have been 52 as I was retiring in April 2020... But managed to delay until July 2021 as I couldn't do anything or go anywhere anyway. I was on the second Royal cruise back after Covid. Now a ripe old age of 57.

I actually know exactly what you mean.

I spent 12 years from 2008 to 2020 flying backwards and forwards to Zurich, and they definitely live on booze there as well, and it wasn't cheap.!

I'm glad her knee Op went well, I have only personally known two people who had a knee Op, and both of them it went wrong, one of them flatlined twice during the operation, and they were both private.!

I very very rarely drink nowadays, a nice cuppa for me.

I drunk enough from the age of 15 to the age of 30 to last my lifetime.!

I know on Royal that if you have a Drinks Package, or even the benefit drinks, you can use them on Cococay.

The same with the Wifi etc. etc.

Anything from the ship is useable on the Island. That is one of the "Sales arguments" in the fact that the Island is purely an extension of the ship.

If Carnival doesn't let their Drink Packages extend to Celebration Key that is a huge mistake. It may well in the short term create a bit of extra revenue, but it will stop people getting off the ship.
