So the BOE drops the Bank Rate, that in turn should weaken the Pound, but the US/GBP exchange rate has gone up, and not down, so now there are more dollars to the pound than before.

Additionally, all companies that have debt the repayments are considered lower, whether they are or not is immaterial, but the stocks have dropped, not increased.

and finally, you would think that following the spike earlier that all travel stocks would jump at least a few percentage points and Oil would drop, but nope... it spiked then dropped back.... and now the FTSE is Bright Red.

So now obviously Economics 101 is not 102 instead.!

We are up, with the spike, because of the announcement of tea and cakes next week.

Oil's dropped, all travel has spiked.

$26.62 to $26.78....... That would put us on £20.21 which is 14p UP from our closing.

Honestly I actually prefer playing during the day on sea days.

Playing Roulette when the table is full is great but it takes too long to spin so during the day it’s less busy.

However in the evenings it’s more fun with a busy table.

$27.125 to $27.20 = 7.5c gain or 5.5p ish gain for the morning.

You have the US literally on the edge of recession, where jobs are not being created, cost of living will be going up once all the extra products that all the companies bought in April have finally filtered out, Interest Rates are going to have to be reduced to stoke the economy, which in turn will stoke Inflation.... and what happens....... the US stock indexes still go up.......
