I hear you okfornow slow down in USA yes but recession no = data coming out of USA shows a slow down in growth for 2019 and I read the yield curve has inverted but then that has often a time lag of upto 24 months before a recession comes about so I still believe market over reaction but when the tide goes out most boats go out with the tide... interesting how this bounces at support at 306p … good place to accumulate

ragnarlothbrok - love the name. I am Earl Borg then :-) I scalped SMDS twice in at 308p and out at 315p then today in at 306p and out at 311p. I still have that core holding of 402.65p and given the results update am not overly concerned.

I am still in SMDS and yes whilst it had breached my mental stop loss i have held on as i believe the market is pricing this wrong. looking to buy back in and average down from my 402.65p entry

Like the chart Kellogg’s I navigated here as i read your post on the centrica BB. I’ve had a look at your chart ... makes sense ... I see 1st profit target at 648p then 700p (daily) before your 1000p.... consequently we have an 8/34ema crossover so I’ll probably take a look at this tomorrow - cheers. For what its worth i’ll be interested in how this opens tom. For any technical geeks here #CNA bearish retest gap .. why a retest, yesterday’s prior candle was red ie sellers in control / SHORTS .. with gap down today in profit and will likely close to cover (buy) plus u have an inverted hammer on high volume. Likely reverse tomorrow for a quick trade.

I sent a message to II.co.uk and they replied that PLUS sends them a dividend by cheque so it will take a couple more business days for them to settle/clear. Fine by me.

Yes I am swing trading and occasionally day trading. First and Foremost i consider myself to be a risk manager so i set myself an immediate stop loss which i am disciplined with. for a swing trade like this i went in with 2062 shares. today i am down but i see another hammer at close so market is giving us signals here... looking for a 6050+ target and then i move on. Check out #BATS which is doing well as a bond proxy. This is a good stock LT hold but at this moment i am cautious about committing LT in any one stock.

I am new into #AZN and have just taken an entry purely on a technical basis. I come in and out of stocks as i see fit, scalping and swing trading. Weds opened positions on #BATS at 3518p and #Barcs at 170.2p. Both in profit as of close of today. Reason for taking a position at 16:20 ish was the following

i) Price Action = candle hammer pattern
ii) Support on the 50 EMA
iii) Re-Test Gap ... so my trading plan is entry at 5814p stop loss at 5665p (100 SMA) & Trade out at 6050p. Thats my rationale ... we will see if it works.

Yes, there are a minority of exceptions (BOO) but in the majority this market will lose you money. Try solid company's with proven track records. For example right now i am invested in BATS and FRES .... some good small digit gains but in this current environment i'll take that. Good luck
