Volume is good - but SMS has enjoyed an 800% rise in SP in last 5 years. - While SMS appears to be about smart meter installation, it would be sensible if all that Low Frq omnimesh signals through concrete internet of things research , could have led to £'s for Cyan in UK and other western economies. Norway ( pop 3-4M) is unlikely to generate lots of Turnover for Cyan
Surely am missing something and look forward to be shot down. It is also odd that if SM Roll out in India can lead to 10-20% reduction in wasted energy ( & carbon footprint ) that traction in India has been so slow.
This is probably a stupid question. Why is Cyan not appropriate in Western economies ?

2-3 years back this board included commentary about the competition. Not now.
So it is difficult to get a feel for the % of the India Smart meter rollout Cyan could bag.
India wont put all their eggs in one basket and post COP China or The US could do some
rug pulling with a monster subsidy on something better than Cyan. That of course could be nonsense . Nevertheless I have no idea what the competition is up to / or got to . If I / we did we could form a better view on market share for Cyan and do the numbers. Pedro's projected SP could be hugely under or overly optimistic.

I dont see how Cyan can avoid increasing spend. While future profitability looks as if it is on the way soon and cash income is markedly improved....this growing company will need to shore up its balance sheet until income is considerably higher. Income could grow by geometric progression over the next 2-3 years. So , if so, further diluting share issues should not be of great concern. However I have not got a good handle on the competitive position Cyan is in or which competitor may have a competitive advantage. If Cyan is not in top 4 in the competition, Cyan could become sideshow. On balance I am confident taking a 3 year view.
In 3 years either zilch or £2-3/ share. I am still sitting on losses and will wait.
Going to be very ill if our XV fails to turn over bokkies.

so why do the FD and Chairman not speak slowly in plain acronym free english ?
I ran a company reliant upon export letters of credit so I take your point. It is equally true that if u grow a co the bodies and fixed o/heads grow. Growing cash balance just from profits isnt easy and maintenance wont happen without some well paid bodies. Still reckon it needs a dilution issue .
And blockchainer......ran a mile when Vog spent 74 m on a dodgy results drill.
Or put another way......Cyan may be on the cusp of astonishing growth.......or could be nudged aside. I certainly dont have a handle on the likelihoods. Cyan does not have a balance sheet which can stand up to much stress so being taken out seems the most likely if it really is in top 3 in this market.
Someone could spell out why Cyan has near zero traction in Western economies. I have small brain and dont understand why.
This board could do with more commentary on Cyan's competition .
LT
If the US or China pay poor countries to get their more expensive smart meters in place ......or if better tech emerges? Hope not.

About 3 years ago I researched Cyan. Lots of things I had not understood became clear.
I know what the acronyms / advantage of Low frequency / ability to take readings through impenetrable concrete/ omnimesh etc all mean. I would bet that most dont . I still dont have a handle on whether Cyan's product is "stealable" or how competitive are Cyan's competitors........or indeed whether the Russians are going to sneek up with even better technology. I do know that building a larger company means a larger balance sheet ( More finance/cash than can be provided solely by profits ) and so dont believe there will not be yet more dilution.
If Cyan is half as successful as seems likely more dilution is nothing to fear.
LT
If CYAN "spoke Anglo saxon " rather than acronyms and better explained ( In anglo saxon) to those unfamiliar with the attractions of Low Frequency in data transmission and The Internet of Things , highlighted the fact that Utilities will burn less carbon once they derive the benefits of smart metering .....and nailed Cyan's competitive advantages in plain language ....... then maybe we get to Pedro's overcooked SP projection quicker.
Cyan wont be a market darling until it better and more simply explains what it does , why it does it and why it has competitive advantages.
Odd that CYAN is not making more of its contribution to lowering utilities future carbon footprints.
Assuming the new DCF value is achieved .... SP would be 37P
DCF value projections are rarely achieved. 40P by Christmas . . unlikely.
But Jed "WM will be the making of VOG" Ho Ho.
Mel
Thanks Colour. Got a giggle from your post.
Melrosian
But Kev told us the VOG model would roll out in all africa.
mel in covid boredom mode.
The best new news is that someone is carrying out due diligence on WM.
"The making of VOG " is not WM . Ho Ho.
Could VOG have a higher Market Cap? Maybe if VOG can export gas. ...and maybe if WM turns into cash. Do I have the courage to once again invest in VOG. After 2 secs the answer is no. I dont fancy the risks in those "virtual pipelines".
I have lost a fair amount on VOG but have been out for a good while. I did find the chatrooms quite entertaining and was a believer. I do have to apollogise to those wiser than me.
The spreadsheets and volume sales assurances did seem to point to a time when exploration would be much financed by cash flow. Theoretically that is still the case but I can not see it ever happening. If Cameroon decided it should sell into the International oil and gas markets.... that might one day ensure a route to reliable cash flows.
However that and the mooted power station conversions ........do I believe. No.
