To further dampen prospects my manager COMCAS, remember her ,yesterday purchased a small amount of fertiliser from www.fertipar.com.br for a few of our grazing fields in advance of sowing. You may recall that the price of KPfertil was in the region of $60 /tonne .She paid equivalent of $260 per tonne for natural phosphate. Crazy ???? Not in the opinion of our internationally respected agronomist ,Anibal de Moraes,(you can google him) who appraised the qualities of both products albeit for our specific application and came to the conclusion that the quantity of KPfertil we would need in order to achieve the same results would more than negate the price difference.
Incidentally the main supplier of KPfertil would not undertake to deliver to our farm in Parana state.
