Now everyone should look at the underlying fundamentals. This is a tremendous share and were it not for the Geociclo debacle it will eventually go through the roof .
Now that carnival and holiday period are over. A new Ag friendly President in place and the Ruralistas are in control...Sorry enviromentalists . Add to that rains are over and the season of fertilising ,planting etc will commence means that the sales will start rolling in and with it the profit

Remember the golden rule with any share is "do your own research "and not listen to the static. I am sorry if you ignored this basic rule.
So now, guess what, I am going to talk the share up because it suits me and is also in line with other comments i made. Here in Brasil we will soon be preparing our land for the new planting season so there will be an uptake in fertiliser use (its not in my interest any longer to call it dust)
i can see this rising to 18p at some point perhaps june/july but not much higher unfortunately due to the Geociclo debacle. that would be a reasonable get out point

I am surprised at the early upturn because I didn't anticipate this until late March

I categorically stated my buy in would be 10p and also that i expected a rise in March primarily because i farm in Brazil and know the agricultural cycle (which obviously you dont) The rains will be ending and soil will be prepared for planting
Another poster here,i believe Olderbutw actually accurately predicted the rise as Feb in response to my post.

I have got all i want and will sit and wait for any profit although this stock is still a large gamble

I apologise if any serious investors believe any of the drivel (positive or negative) that is written

The farmers here do not grow soya for the domestic market
The smart ones apply fertilizer,as opposed to remineraliser, to increase their yield to sell the product to China

My views are based on the facts here on the ground in Brasil and not based on promotional media releases in OZ or GB

I cant help it if you do not like the reality

You should get excited when you see firm sales and income not what vested interests are spouting

John you are correct my views on this stock have developed over the last 6 months. 6 months ago i was attracted primarily as an end user in Brasil and as a modest consumer i started to investigate the product. I spoke to HMI first distributor,Agrocerrado, and even praised their service on this site. However after consulting my agronomist and researching MAPA
(the Ag Ministry) i came to the conclusion that there was a market albeit for a far more limited end user than was being claimed.

I still saw what i ,at that time conceived a value in the company though not at the heady heights on offer ie +20p
I voiced my opinion and stated that i had a target buy in price of 10 p at which level i concluded that i could make a reasonable return over say a 2 or 3 year period

In view of the lack of sales (income) reports and the other various hiccups including Geociclo being lauded as the
saviour for distribution and sales only to appoint administrators shortly after. You will recall that i notified this BB that we had attempted to contact Geociclo concerning supply and could get no response whatsoever .

All of the above and other factors like the difficulties of doing business in Brasil now lead me to believe that i will now just sit back and watch rather than invest at any level.

I really do not see any significant details immerging that will change this stock for the good until after the silly holiday season which ends in March. At that time the rainy season will also be abating and farmers will start to think about their next crop and perhaps the Geociclo situation will be clearer

It appears that you know even less about how Brasil works than others on this BB

Geociclo will be given a certain amount of time to try to reorganise. In this period they will have to fill all obligations to staff inc pension rights etc etc.
If there is a reasonable chance of recovery all will go well ,if not, the principles will run off with whatever is not bolted down.

Incidently all staff in Brazil receive a13th salary (extra month) if they are with a company at Christmas so its very unusual for anyone to move on during that period. It is also worth noting that Brasil pretty much closes down from mid December until after Carnival which is mid March. Even the judiciary and courts dont restart until the end of Feb so any legalities will not be finalised

I can attest that everything i stated is 100% correct regarding Brazilian labour laws

I have been operating there in the agricultural sector for 15 years so i would suggest you are talking drivel unless you surprise me and tell me how much experience you have there

I didnt once question the RNS but just pointed out that things aint so easy

HMI have already experienced that and acknowledged it so i think you know less than HMI or myself

I have never hidden the fact and reported it here many times that i was looking at a target buy in price of 10p although recent events are currently suggesting that i may decline at any level

Whether it is the HMI principles or their associates in Brasil i cannot comment but they have not excelled their selves to date and seem to have underestimated local problems repeatedly

You are not aware of the labour laws in Brasil .....probably the most pro employee regime in the world
These guys will have massive claims against Geociclo (do HMI have any exposure here)

The obligations of taking on these employees will be considerable and no, because of benefits they wont be in a hurry to take any deal

Additional social costs of 1 employee amounts to 65%

It is almost impossible to fire someone....even if they are falling down drunk it is forbidden to even suggest they have a drink problem

Apparently it has been known that Geociclo have had financial problems for more than a year.

If this is correct of an established fertilizer producer and supplier with full MAPA certification in the same area and they have failed then what would indicate that HMI will succeed ?
