Levi you raise a great point on the temp measurement. There is great difficuly in divorcing the urban heating island effect from the genuine global warming effect. This is another issue with the theory. Best places to measure temp are where there are no humans, at the poles. The evidence there is less clear cut. The data shows no warming at all at the south pole since 1960. At the north pole a cooling trend was observed from 1930s to 1970, since when there is a noted warming trend which takes us marginally above 1930s temps. The climate models you keep pointing at do not incorporate atmospheric thermodynamics. Since thermodynamics is a fundamental law of nature and it can't be incorporated in to these models some scepticism is perhaps a good idea. I bet yr quickly googling it as we speak :D. This is the first observation that will kill the co2 fallacy as the sun activity is mirroring that which occurred during the mini ice age.
