This isn’t a point that makes sense nor a real conversation as you’re off on a tangent . Audioboom are utilising YouTube to monetise it’s content and video production of its performers.
If you want to invest in a video streaming company then that’s what I suggest you do.
We don't need the Audioboom platform to host video in order to utilize Youtube. We are able to distribute audio-only feeds to the Youtube Music app, and many of our leading creators upload the video versions of their podcasts to YouTube also - importantly our premium advertising (the host-voiced endorsements) run in that content - so we are monetizing all of that Youtube distribution.
What are Losingless and 404 are on about. All this psychological stuff. I’ve got no idea what mothers have to do with it either.
You’re wrong that I’m new Losingless. I suspect I’m more frustrated than emotional. There are some dogs and even frauds around. But Audioboom is at the other end of the scale being a sound well run company which has suffered last year from the advertising turn down which is now recovering. No one like to see their investment go down due to bad eggs!
Looking at the report it’s there in black and white that Audioboom is up there ranking one 5th with the Gods of network companies and you have this joke of a price, joke of AIM and joke in trading. But the basics are there and the good guys will win!
Good try !
Thx bearhunt3r.
What do you mean. I’m not a trader so would appreciate what NT means and how to keep a close eye. Thx
Bearhuntr3, you’ve got much better platform than my measly ii. Can an MM refuse to be in the market? Also it’s always mystified how MM can find stock in a fast rising market. They must hold positions and not really on matching buys and sells. After all if I went onto ii now and ordered 1000 shares the likelihood of a matching sell is not likely.
AEMarsh - absolutely. Early morning poster hoping to distract unknowlegeable investors. Level playing field please. Just value Audioboom on industry metrics which is minimum 3x annual revenue. Anything else means the bulk of tech media companies would be valued at 25 percent of their current market value. That would shake up the indices a bit!
It’s been said before. Tobin is not buying to support the price. He’s buying because he knows that the underlying value of the business will be reflected in the very near future. Sooner rather than later as the major seller will finally get rid of his stock.
You have just done 4 or 5 of the most important posts, ever. Clear facts from the CEO. A lot of work for you to do this.
All things being equal this should be worth a quid on the price. Audioboom are doing a better business than any of its competitors and it’s now profitable ( unlike any other tech media company!). Stuart Last came across positive and relaxed. Will there be new investors. If reassertion by Stuart that a current FMV is £7.80 there should be some new blood coming in.
I feel for Tobin. He must be beside himself. Started to buy again on Friday and it’s like a slap in the face. Every single aspect is positive. Business flying, financial stability, directors purchases. Not much more to be done.
Bearhunt 3 could you advise what is the interview on Monday. You’ve mentioned it a few times.
It’s interesting to read today’s RNS and BB for Wincanton. They released two days ago their Q3 which was in line with market forecast. Another company going cheap
Bearhunt3 has posted some detailed information. He seems to know what’s happened with Bonnier and explains the process of shorters and compliance by MM. I fall heavily in favour of his explanations. The simple fact is the market value of Audioboom bears no relation to the value of its business. There will be a reckoning very soon, I don’t know how it will happen but Bonnier and his followers are going to suddenly lose a lot of money. My bet is the company will release an updated forecast and some large investors will come on board. The MM will not have the stock and there will be bedlam. Following excellent results for Q4, Cavendish will have crawled all over the company numbers to reiterate a FMV of GBP13 and a bullish presentation, there will be a considerable correction.
Good posts Soundman. Another sudden spate of sells this morning. It all has a familiar feeling of orchestration. And perhaps it is Bonnier’s final fling. Unfortunately only a few will know whilst we are all in the dark!
The RNS was just about as good as you can get. Audioboom is now an established well run company in a growing industry. AIM market has done itself no favours today. As with other good small cap companies the market is of no use as traders play the price. No recognition of the quality and underlying value.
Of course Audioboom will go on to much better things but we should be under no illusions that although the value has doubled in a few months it was from a price decimated by all I can say are chancers and bandits. Management can’t manage companies in this environment.
Good news as it will add more demand to Boom’s Showcase marketplace. Triton's ad platform is one of Boom’s programmatic integrations, so it’s inventory will get exposed to Amazon's demand/brand partners this way.
Also Boom already connect with Amazon directly in some territories... the Triton/Amazon partnership will give Boom another layer/second route to selling inventory via Amazon.
This is interesting
