Only 800 shares traded today. I don’t know what this indicates as most of this week has been minimal action. Were most of the recoded sales last week all to do with the exercise of options of past employees which has been discussed here.

Major shareholders, directors and management will not allow this to wallow around for much longer. My urgent hope is that AIM is no longer a factor as Audioboom is now a serious player in the podcast and media industry and cannot afford to hang around on this share exchange and being treated as a start up. I just can’t wait to say goodbye to the you and your brethren.

Vox’s download and views are approximately 25% of Boom and Vox only have 110 podcasts in their network... but they have a very different model. They own podcast IP (not all of the shows in the network but some)... but less scalable and requires more investment and risk

Very tough to get a sense of $300m valuation because the Vox podcast network is only a part of the Vox assets which includes The New York magazine and some high profile news websites.

This shows Vox Podcast Network in 20th place in Podscribe ranking.

Note that McDonalds is a major advertiser with Boom. Only iHeart have McDonalds as well.

I have to say that this process has been kept very tight and no news has leaked. That’s good as it doesn’t force anyone’s hand.

So I’m confident there will be a very good outcome.

The conundrum or question StockSurfer is why has the market set a price of £6 based on the RNS announcing there is a group of potential buyers. This is only a 20% premium to the pre SR price. We can see the metrics of other podcast companies have improved over the past 3 to 6 months. Is this just the failings of AIM which is dominated by very short term traders.

That has been my feeling for some time. I think it’s going to be an acquisition in USA leading to an immediate Nasdaq listing. Which is absolutely fine as the price re rate to approx 2.5 times revenue.

Apologies. ACAST up 60% since Oct 2025.

ACAST still maintaining its upward momentum, even today when markets in Europe and US are down. They aren’t under a SR nor have offers been made so the price is being driven by business value and a metric of circa 2.5 x annual revenue.

However AB should have much more going for it with a SR and offers to buy (though price not known). Although the SR brings uncertainty on the options the board will take there is absolutely no down side to the value of the company. Since the announcement back at the beginning of October when the price was £5.42 this has risen by 20% to £6. Whereas ACAST has risen 100% over the same period.

This is AIM but no less more ridiculous.

It maybe that there will be a share issue to acquire a company. But who would that be? Certainly a US company which would give a combined revenue well over $100m and thus more on the radar of institutions if on NASDAQ.

A buyout does look less likely as what is a buyer waiting for. All the up to date figures are out now. It doesn’t take weeks to negotiate a value at this stage.

The board really do have to issue an RNS soon as shareholders can’t be left in limbo for too much longer.

Let’s remember there is now one more keen than Tobin to maximise the price. Not only a huge amount of money for him. It another feather in his CV cap.

Also further to other comments you make:

- any deal to sell the company or take it private needs 75% vote in favour. Michael Tobin, Dowgate, other major shareholders may have around 45%? So I think minority shareholders will have an important say in the matter.

- I don’t think the company can use language like “ significant premium” as this would be seen as potentially influencing the market.
