Funny - I was just reading the results. Still loss making and more than forecast. Revenue basically flat. Shares up 12%.
And posters here are negative on the profit made by Boom and revenue up 70%.

AAQUA, AAA involvement has definitely been a negative right from their offer last summer. They chanced their arm with the £12 bid which had no sound foundation. £2 cash and £10 value placed on AAA shares. AAA still isn’t publicly listed. Their plans must have gone belly up. Audioboom is reporting record financial results. This is a mere distraction. The sooner the above mentioned shareholders are off the scene the better.

Someone posted a few days ago that it was interesting Tobin and Last were not purchasing since the AAQUA RNS. Has something come to light which they can’t report to the market - yet. Tobin has been buying from 1800 to 700. Why stop now? I’m hoping it’s knowledge of an offer! But I’m an optimistic investor.

I’ve always valued AE Marsh’s posts. Always truth and reality.
Here’s hoping he’s right.
FinnCap basically agree with him and that’s good enough for me.
There’s a lot of bull **** going around with anything minor negative overshadowing the positives.
I prefer to look at the positives whilst being aware of what may happen. But if you let negatives rule you it’s impossible to run a business and the same to invest.
So those who only point out the negatives are not investors. They are value destroyers.

Distressed seller. AAQUA! They were muted to be full of cash from Bonnier etc. what a shower. AAA, AAQUA, Bonnier and Rodger Sargent. All guilty of putting in a ludicrous offer last year and hanging around like a bad smell since. The entire snake pit should be ashamed. And AAA hasn’t even come back to market. Thank god the Directors of Boom didn’t progress the flawed advances!

MM managed a couple of small after hours trades to drop the closing price from 675p.
Weekend now for investors to mull over what’s happened and what’s going to happen. Rumours galore perhaps.

DRB - Boom is not trading on fundamentals at the moment.
The M&A froth has gone for the moment. So based on pure metrics on the business performance this should be priced at double current valuation. The posse of bandits currently posting can argue their case but their aim is to destroy the value of a magnificently run company which is outperforming the sector. Why they have this agenda is anyone’s guess. Maybe Boom is behind the curve on what’s happened to Netflix, etc. An investor just has to look at the H1 figures to see the growth and stability of the financials. Disregard the postings of inaccurate figures. Believe what the company publishes and not the “anti vax” brigade.
Some may poopoo the finnCap Note and the fair market price of 2250p. They’ve done their analysis so again up to the investor to believe who’s right.
For sure there is a short programme going on. I’ve no idea how that can be countered so it’s over to management and finnCap to prove them wrong.

Good point about the notes to I think it was Q1 trading update. Total revaluation based on renewal of the big contracts and additional shows. It’ll be key to see what finnCap have to say.
No doubt that Stuart and Brad and all the Boom are way ahead of the curve in this sector. A totally professional company.

Typical of the market whether it’s as a whole or MM being instrumental in dictating the price. News that major contracts renewed and additional shows met with apathy. I just wonder why some people are invested when they sell on such great indications that business is thriving.

Probably. That’s why trading update and AGM at same time to reduce closed period.

I’m with you on AAA. Haven’t fulfilled any promises and the Oberon grey market never appeared. Vivendi should make a difference with more cash element. The difficulty these guys have is they’ve forced the price down too low. So the premium offered wouldn’t be enough to match £12 last year and of course major shareholders ( and us) in Boom will find it unacceptable. £20 is a minimum value and at the current market price this can’t be achieved. So I agree with you.
Just clarify what is 2 billion shares?
And yes I now about dilution etc!

AAA has 1.029billion shares. So still wrong!

Do get some simple facts correct.
Boom has 16m shares in issue ( not 2 billion)
Boom has plenty of cash and cash flow positive for more than a year.
