Great to have you back. I looked up some of your past posts back in May. You spoke a lot of sense then. The fall of the NASDAQ and Spotify and Netflix has caused contagion even though Boom is a totally different business model not based on subscriptions. Q3 is out there and will be decent performance. FY22 forecast is on track

Of course the value of the dollar V sterling matters. Vast majority of shareholders are sterling based and price is in sterling. So strong dollar revenue and earnings translate into better valuation in pounds.

There was a 6000 increase from May to July. I suppose exercise of options?

Very difficult for anyone to predict. The company advised in H1 update that Q3 would be difficult and challenging due to advertising market but FY 22 should be unchanged. I think it will be a mixed bag of good growth in certain areas such as their huge inventory and more modest in the specialty podcasts. More then six new shows have been signed up since June so it will be key how well they’ve performed. I see that there’s a finnCap presentation on 19th October. So the Q3 will be as I said either 17 or 18th

Nice if we had a dose of steroids as well. That’s coming in Q4. Trajectory of advertising and revenues is much better in the final quarter after what’s been a challenging market for the whole industry these past 3 months.

Your post puts it brilliantly gg. Looking at it from a positive analysis is important if a long term investor. I went through many of the other podcast networks and all were up and down. Boom continues to grow and the chairman continues to buy when he can. Close period now due to Q3 figures out in next 3 weeks.

You can’t say irrelevant. If business continues to grow then that’s much better than those companies which are reporting a downturn, albeit temporary.
I maintain much of the price reduction has been due to movements in shareholder holdings. A company like Audioboom can’t weather the storm of a forced selling by Bonnier.

Market is appalling in general. ACAST is the only other public quoted podcast company and it’s been decimated down to 8 Swedish Kroner. The MM and traders are having a field day on the back of Bonnier continuing to dispose.

All markets seem to be spooked by Putin’s new moves. Awaiting his TV announcement.

Audioboom is becoming very cheap to a USA buyer in dollars.

I agree the price will recover strongly and above 6 today although US markets took a hammering yesterday

gg - Booms day will come again and very quickly.
The FCA of course will not investigate but there has been huge market abuse over the past month or two. More discussion on that later I hope.
